Your Chaos Plans?
#1
Well, if any of you have plans for the upcoming update of Chaos, what are they?

I plan on getting my Aran to 120 (if I can't by Chaos), trying out a DB for the first time, spending time with professions, organizing my characters, etc.

I'm really excited, to be honest. I've been getting so bored with Maple lately and considering it's summer with all of my spare time, we really needed this.

Also, how do you feel about this upcoming update? c:

There is nothing interesting in chaos the only redeeming factor is that now the rich can train low lv chars faster right now everyone can only train so fast and its annoying

Wait until the profression stuff comes out and then get mining and crafting to level 10 or something. Maybe hunt some recipes while I'm at it.

Gonna be on vacation from a few hours from now until about the day it arrives, so no plans for the time between now and then. Post-Chaos, I only have about a week or two to play in total between now and Thanksgiving (unless my parents forget no playing during school, or become lenient). During the time I do have, I plan to get 160 and pass Guardian 30 on my Paladin, and make an Aran with the free character deal.

Interesting. Well, Post-Chaos, I really just mainly want to focus a lot on my Aran even though I'm making a Jumpstart Dual Blader. The Professions are going to make things fun in a sense that you can literally craft so much. So we'll just have to see.

If the PvP is unplayable (only for American timezones/lags badly) and/or if server merge still won't come, then I have no interest in this game.

It's nice that Aran gets buffed, but I don't think that will honestly make the grinding entertaining. I have wasted too many hours grinding without enjoying a least bit of it, just thinking that something waits me at high levels. In the end it just gets easier and easier to level in future updates and my hard-earned characters will be worth nothing.

Since my main training skills aren't really getting buffed, I suppose I'll just throttle back on training and spend more time going on boss runs and playing with the crafting system. Probably PVP too if the exp turns out to be worth it. CVP has me spoiled though...

I'm going to grind for personalities-exp, trying to hit the daily cap as much as possible. Though this won't happen with all personalities (Charm and Insight or Empathy). I'm also grinding my profession for the lvl 10 recipe event, most likely the Accesory Making one. After that I keep Mining for a few days/weeks to increase my Insight to the daily cap, and then change to Herbalism & Alchemy as my final professions, which I will raise only because they give personality-exp (with 100 fatigue you can raise your Empathy with 500 if no herbs fail, and all other goes to crafting things for Dilligence).

Class changes? PvP? I won't give a pinebanana, I enjoy my Aran how it is now, have to see if I'll like the changes.

Make an Evan, and raise it while waiting for the Profession stuff to come out. When it does, make my Bowmaster a Jewel Crafter, while making my Evan an Alchemist. Then make everyone else become mining mules.

First I'm getting on my dual blade. If there isn't a reset in my inventory then I'm not playing until I get one. After that I'm going to try to make a boat-load of meso by mining and forging accessories, because those are easily the most wanted items out of the profession system.
