Customizable Post-Chaos DPS Chart
#1
Updated to v0.09

v0.09 Download link (.xlsm, Excel 2007+ only): http://www.mediafire.com/?7b24mw8q1j2yb17
v0.09 Download link (.xls, compatible with earlier versions of Excel): http://www.mediafire.com/?322zeeh77tafd23

Sample default image (outdated from v0.06): http://img804.imageshack.us/img804/3203/12096832.png

Disclaimer: This chart is highly theoretical. All calculations are based off spamming (an) attack(s) on an immobile, non-damaging boss. Non-calculable and factors impractical to calculate have not been considered, and several assumptions have been made for simplicity. Therefore, actual results will vary heavily, and judgments should not be made solely based off the output of this chart.

Instructions: Use the Options sheet for customization. The output is dynamic and will change as you change settings on the Options sheet. The Options sheet should be self-explanatory. Input your own class into the "Base Class" line. This class will be used for all relative comparisons, and the calculations of all other classes will be based on the class designated as the base class. Even if the base class cannot use a piece of equipment specified, such as a shield, input those stats according to the strength of other classes you would like to compare yourself to. When inputting stats, include non-% potential and blessing ring buffs. Buffs automatically work for their original classes. Sample inputs are available at the bottom right of the sheet. If macros are turned on, fields will be updated when the command button is pressed.

Notes: This is still a work in progress, so please help by posting any issues or mistakes you may find in the thread on Southperry.net or Basilmarket.com. I am certain this chart has many inaccuracies in it, so please do not use this for practical purposes until it is complete. Suggestions (features, formatting, etc.) are also welcome.
Every class is assumed be equipped with their endgame equipment, including VIP and elemental weapons. For simplicity, violet snowshoes and strong machine gloves are assumed, and minor scroll discrepancies are ignored.

Special Thanks
Dusk for creating the first Big Bang calculator
Fiel for providing skill data
Hidden Street for providing equipment data
Members of Southperry.net for providing information on game mechanics

Known Issues
Satellite safety may be additive to robot mastery. It is currently assumed to be multiplicative.
Battleship mount/dismount time may be inaccurate. The delay is currently estimated at 800 milliseconds.
Some sample inputs are subjective and have been chosen somewhat arbitrarily. Let me know if there is a significant discrepancy or bias.

Whoa whoa whoa. Are the files safe? If they are safe, do the calculations seem fairly accurate??

I resent that.

With the way mesos are inflating, my Paladin's gear is probably around the 3-4 billion mark and rising steadily. >_< 10 billion won't actually get you all that much. I would guess about 80% stat all around, with some of the money going towards attack gear.

In Khaini, 15% str gear is nearly 2b. 80% seems about right, but if you get a weapon, that 80% would drop off to like 50-60%. I'm not sure if that's about standard, it seems like a reasonable place though. Perhaps a little high, but decent overall.

That's crazy nearly max mesos for one 15% str equip. Looks like I wont be getting new equips anytime soon

Nearly everything has inflated like mad with all the wh botters bringing in so many mesos. Conversely, books have deflated lol.

15% luk equips in windia are 2.5b+
i can only expect inflation after chaos

Why do things change around so much when you swap from DPS to DPM?
Which do you think is more relevant?

I'd like to know as well, if so that's some crazy amount of switching around from BB. And I would never have expected Mechs to be so low on the totem pole.

That's because he didn't add:
- AMP bot (+20% dmg)
- Dice5 (+5% dmg @ avg)
- Dice4 (+3.3% critical @ avg)
- Satellite (+315% per second)
- Robot Factory (+500% per second)
- Rock n Shock (+100% per second)

Current Mech DPS -> 2551.24%
Buffed Mech DPS -> 3466.24%
With Dice5avg Mech DPS -> 3639.552%
With AMP Mech DPS -> 4367.4624%

Numbers:
- Before: 941.412 DPS
- After: 1.611.601 DPS

Setting them right at nr1 position. Wink

Even is this is a very rough estimate, Mech's do more DPS then this... Wink

Amplifier is already accounted for, and I've already listed under the known issues that mech summons and dice roll are unaccounted for.

That's a mistake with shadow partner and damage over time, thanks for catching that. I'll fix that the next time I update. DPM/DPH don't matter and are really just there for lulz.

This is mainly for my laughter before you change it later on because I honestly cannot stop laughing at this supposed chart you had laid out.

Quote:1. Aran
2. Dual Blade
3. Dark Knight
4. Wild Hunter
5. Hero
6. Marksman
7. Bowmaster
8. Mechanic
9. Battlemage
10. Corsair
11. Shadower
12. I/L Mage
13. F/P Mage
14. Paladin
15. Night Lord
16. Evan
17. Bishop
18. Buccaneer

Lmao.
Arans on top. DrKs on top of Heroes. Shadowers 11. Evan at 16. Dual Blade number 2. Bowmaster > Corsair and Paladin > Night Lord.

Oh God.

Oh.
OP is an Aran.

Not sure why you have to respond like that. I've already stated that this is a work in progress and that there may be errors. The only ones I am aware of those listed under known issues. Also, there are over 20 variables affecting the ranking you've posted, which only displays the rankings shown by default. I have not injected any bias into the chart. If you find any problems with the chart, you don't have to respond with baseless laughter. Next time, please post more constructively to help me improve the sheet.

Sorry, missed your reply on this, is AMP enabled by default on Mech's like SE is enabled by default for SE classes? I can't check it right now, i only have excel viewer installed here (can't check on/off switches), getting new office next week. Smile

Also, Mech's summons do add more damage then listed:

Rock 'n Shock + Robot Mastery buff:
200% / sec - duration: 60sec * 1.5 - cooldown 180secs - (200x90sec) / 180sec = 100% / sec

Satellite + Satellite Safety buff:
210 * 1.5 = 315% x 3 Satellites = 945% / 3030ms = 311.88% / sec

Bots 'n Tots + Robot Mastery buff (makes Bots 'n Tots infinite summon):
500 * 3 Bots = 1500% / 3030ms = 495.05% / sec

Total buff: 100+311.88+495.05 = +906.93% Summon DPS (didn't include summon time).

Total Mech DPS would be: 3187,78% / sec with RnS (maybe clumsy to setup)
Total Mech DPS would be: 3087,78% / sec without RnS
