Pumpkin quest

how do you do it?

you attack the ginormous pumpkin, idk how you cut the pievces tho. you can't use skills on the big ppumpkin...

You use normal attacks. I suggest equipping a sword or pole arm or something, as claws could be hard to be on the ground and poke it. Bows without Soul Arrow might work.


There's a total of 6 pumpkin pieces per go. There's 3 parts to the mouth. One is in the center, one is on the left, and one is on the right. It should take about 6-7 hits to carve them out.

Then there is the nose. It is in the center of the pumpkin. It is one hit, but it can be a challenge to find.

There's also 2 eyes. These take about 5 hits. They start just inside the ends of the mouth, and a bit above.


You may have to jump and hit for some of them. You can climb the pumpkin up the center. :X

You can also climb the pumpkin up the left side... The hat is pretty good too for the amount of effort it takes to get it... 2atk

Too bad it expires in 3 days.

Its stats can vary. I got a 3 att pumpkin hat.

The thing im wondering is when you make it resemble a jackolantern and all the pumpkin thingys spawn, I kill em all and they dont drop anything and nothing happens when i kill all of em. anything supposed to happen?

There is now a NPC called Maid at the entrance of the mansion (inside). Talk to her to start the quest, and then again to go to the map. There's a portal there to leave (or you'll be warped after 3 minutes).


In another version, they dropped additional Pumpkin Pieces, according to Isaac. They don't drop for us. The ones that spawn at the end...no idea. I get misses on em anyways so yea. :/

I'm still looking for my 2007. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Malady said "The event has ended, see you next year." exactly like the easter bunny. Now, she has 2 options (basket+candy) which say a similar thing if you select them. I don't remember seeing the options. :X

Anybody else able to say if I'm just ignoring it completely or something? D:

This is false. I have a 3 att Pumpkin Hat, and it is still worse than my 15/15 Zhelm (it's unscrolled). I'm level 164.

You're a bowman, you get att from dex and str.
A sin would get more att from a 3att pumpkin at your lvl.
