Where do you recommend artifact-hunting?

Artifacts started dropping at midnight, no need for maintenance.

My favorite spot for farming any and all event drops used to the the mushroom mini-dungeon in the Ant Tunnels.
Since Big Bang, I haven't been able to find a new good spot.
On the other hand, Big Bang made my Shout strong enough to 1-hit things a bit higher than mushrooms.

So, can anyone recommend a map with a nice thick spawn of any mob? Preferably under 30k hp.

Also, my guildies say artifacts aren't dropping at MP3, so I guess all world-tour and Masteria suggestions are out. (But do mention them for other events). They're also not dropping in LHC, not that the kill speed there would make for good hunting even if they did.

You could try blue ribbon pigs, just a bit right of the Nautilus Harbor. Their map is mostly flat with a few platforms within reach of shout from a standing position, and they aren't any stronger than orange mushrooms I believe.

Alcadno Research Institute: Lab - Area C-2

Mob HP is within the 40k range, but it's still the best map for anyone with a rush / teleport skill, because it's flat IMHO.
Also this is the very same map that lead me to take 1st place from the 2009 artifact hunt when majority of the top 10 were ulti spamming mages.

Just a word of caution, the rewards are the same from 2009's event, so if you were hoping for the face accessory or whatever, you're SoL.

It is level based. I started the quest when I was around lvl 35, so 550k exp would have gotten me a few levels.

iirc, I got nearly 50% each artifact.

They should have just copy-pasta'd the KMS event entirely and altered the equips to remove the "+Charm", but that's asking for too much of NexonNA.

I think it's the fact that it gives a set 550k exp to every character, regardless of level, instead of a moderate amount according to your level, like these events usually do.

I am doing this on a 30-ish char, got about 8k for the first artifact and 9k for the second, which makes sense considering it leveled a few times between them. About 20% from each.

Well I think he means after a certain threshold, it'll always give 550k EXP regardless of level, so even if I were to get one on my 191 Pally, it'd only give 550k EXP.

Ok, I was hunting for Soul Lights at Poison Poopas and found that artifacts are incredibly easy to get if one were to simply sift through the channels and loot from all the botters. Not to mention the awesome spawn that map has.

I don't get it, how are you guys getting exp out from the artifacts? All I'm getting are points and a massage that the artifacts are going into my use inventory, but I check that and there are no rocks to be seen. Am I missing something?


EDIT: Yes, the 8 special artifacts are the one that give 550k exp.

I heard that the SC is to fix it... if they dont fix it this will be the EVENT of the year

Anyways, my best place is with those Aqua Road Seals.
