Banned Story taken down by Nexon KR.

this is utter BS! this is quite possibly the MOST important maplestory site for me and don't tell me about went my way that site is crap compared to banned story. players from all versions use bannedstory

because, believe you or not, nexon make money with GK and W8 in some way, and GK and W8 don't make hacks for Korean Maplestory, so why should nexon korea bother closing them?

do you know how much more i'd have to spend on NX and regret if I didn't have bannedstory to see how every skill would look with my outfit also it helps me plan ahead, I need a visual of what my character select screen should look like so that I have a goal. if my select screen looks messy then I lose all motivation to play.

I think we can all agree, copyright material that doesn't even gain any profit should probably be on the last of their priorities.

It is highly unlikely that it will. If Nexon Korea itself bought down the decree then it is pretty serious.

im pretty sure basilmarket owner is somewhat affiliated with nexon america, that's why nexon dont close basilmarket,(basilmarket does extraction too).

Nexon really should first spend money fixing they dam game instead of wasting money with lawyers to sue people, look @ sony, spend hundred of dollars trying to sue geohot, and they got hit hard with the database hacking that happend last month.

Perhaps I should have worded it better. Banned Story doesn't even directly harm MapleStory nor Nexon Korea. Why does Nexon go in and out of its way to shut down sites like this when there are bigger offenders in ways other than character simulators out there?

Taking banned story down won't negatively affect Nexon's profits, but keeping it up won't positively affect them either.

Can't prove anything with that. If I create a folder called "Funny Cat Pictures", does that mean that funny cat pictures actually exists in that folder? It could be any number of things. Hell, I could put BannedStory in there.

Yes, nothing can proven about it. But it still suggests there's something hella backwards and upsidedown with this whole issue.

Was it a Nexon America picture? Because Nexon Korea shut down BannedStory, not America. America I believe only made them take off the gMS section of the site awhile back.

They could be evaluating it to see if it infringed on copyrights. Downloading a program or a particular page has no bearing on whether you agree or disagree with its contents or right of distribution. I fail to see your point. They probably downloaded it... so? What does that mean?
