Pirate (buccaneer) jump!

Had a surge of creativity because of a SW thread. Here are more bucc ideas.

Dash stacks with ST and breaks speed cap. (170% speed)

Move barrage to 3rd job, replace shockwave. New 4th job skill: Spin attack. When jumping all enemies in range of your hitbox are dealt 350% damage 4 times. Works even if you can't be hit by invincibility frames. Can only be used during transform/ST, and only once per jump.

All skills can be casted in the air.

Orb replaced with energy wave and energy explosion. Use the skill and a charge bar appears. Release the bar at anywhere except full power to release energy wave. (high power medium range attack. Same horizontal reach as dragon strike, but more vertical range both up and down) 1000% damage to 10 targets. Release the bar at full power for energy explosion. Punch the ground to expend all stored energy to create an explosion that hits 15 monsters on the entire screen for 1800% damage.

Multi-hit skills charge energy for individual hits. (demo charges 8 units, spin attack charges 4, etc)

Energy charge's touch is either removed, or expanded to hit anything inside the bubble itself rather than just your character. If it's expanded, it is changed to never KB a monster. Also, passive 50% stance with no energy.

These are some corsair ideas I have:

-move burst fire to 2nd job
-reduce the points for blank shot, wings, and recoil shot
-give us Physical Training
-Make Gaviota more like Phoenix, where it keeps attacking until it expires (and make it last longer)
-Make Octopus smarter. Let it attack the monsters even if we're not close to the monster.
-Maybe give us a new attack in 3rd job which does more damage than burst fire, but less than cannon, and shoots 4 times.
-Speed Infusion (lots of complaints from buccs)
-Power Stance on Battleship
-Make hypnotize more like puppet. I only use hypno for its disorder effect on bosses.
-Lastly, let us use cannon and torpedo in midair.

Oh yeah, i forgot physical training. Reduce CSB and BSB to 15 SP to max.

I think we should have 90% stance like everyone else while in transformation.

But then there's 0 point in energy charge except for skills.

How about make energy charge's 20att stackable instead of smart? I would also like to see stun mastery change into something more useful. Also put no dispel on ST/T's buffs.

It also gives Weapon Att and other things. They could add more things that Energy Charge does. The idea you said about using energy wave when energy is fully charged is a good idea. Another thing, it also takes energy charge a while to charge up if you are hitting a single target. I don't know if you have ever HT'd but the platform where the wings/arms are, it's so annoying to do anything because you keep getting knocked off. If Nexon changes a faster way to get energy up when hitting a single target then im fine. But since we are always in transformation, give transformation the 90% stance.

Another thing I would like to see is Snatch revamped or replace it for another skill.

Yeah I would love for Energy charge to stack. I was just a chaos Zak, dispel drops my range so much! I find it rather annoying it takes all the effects of ST off other than transform itself so we can still Demo.

Energizer (bear buff in KMS) makes the attack buff useless. I already addressed it charging slow as balls in the OP.

And yes, charge should stack. +85 attack with energizers/ST/charge please.

Edit: I LOVE SNATCH don't take it away from me. ;-; The range increase is my second most wanted update from chaos. (next to orb)

I still want double upper changed to a whirlwind kick that turns the character around. iframes optional. 1-2 hits on both sides of the character.

But it's so inconsistent, idk if it's the monsters or the skill itself. It works well at Golems, even when Warriors magnet it still works. If it did that for all the other monsters it would be okay. :x

It's inconsistent because the animation ends before the actual claw. Golems slide the farther from your character they are when you snatch them, so the range increase will make a massive difference in that map. The more targets you can snatch, the better.

Wouldn't you rather have a skill like magnet, but like we hold our hand up pull the monster towards us by an energy force or something? Rolleyes

Would i rather have magnet, that does crap damage and gets nerfed in jump, or have snatch that has longer range and looks more badass but both have the same function anyway? Tough choice. o.o

Love the ideas, Takebacker, but I have 1 suggestion(or maybe it's just a question?).

Energy Explosion. Make it hit the whole screen horizontally, but not vertically, just to make the attack make sense. You punched the ground, why should a monster on a different platform even feel this?

Got a new idea for Snatch: Can only snatch one enemy, but that enemy will be used as a throwing projectile. The Bucc would fling the enemy in front of him/her and knock down (stun) all the enemies in front of the Bucc for x distance (Dragon Strike range or longer).

Because the energy expands and explodes (or should i say swirl) around you in a dome effect to consume the entire screen. Which is why your energy is consumed after.
