What is the Best "Stat" Build for a Post BB/Chaos Archer?
#1
It's been a long time and since I'm out of the loop. What is the most appropriate stat build for today? I'm hearing so much about Low-STR and No-STR. Yet I don't think I'm rich enough for No-STR and Low-STR sounds risky. What is the best route to take here?

I have currently 0 Gear, and 150.443 M in pure mesos at the moment.

Also aiming to be a Marksman.

well i don't know much about going strless but it seems like as far as weapons go, since it's balls easy to get a strless xbow for lv 35, 43, 64, and 77 right now, it's probably not as hard as it used to be. and since the pyrope xbow is tier 3 you could just potential that.

Low-Str is what I recommend.

gogo 50 str. that way you can easily bump it up with a c/zak and a htp!

With those Maple bows, go STR-less. My 12x Mech is managing +96 STR from his gear, and that's with no Unique equipment. The key is the two Evolving Rings, Zak Helm, and HTP.

Yeah, for a start, I'd go str-less til 80 minimum. Get the 4 maple weapons and you're pretty much set. Once you're 80-90 it might be time to consider going low-str - you'll know part of your equip set (level 80 is the first overall/glove/shoe for bowmen you'd likely want to buy - these don't directly require str, but they add str, so they impact your str total)

My Str is at 51 at the moment, although I didn't have the luxury of Maple Weapons in Zenith when the world started.

Ideally, you can go strless forever, and use the 127 VIP weapons. However, 150 mill won't get you one of those.

I personally have 65 str from way back in the day when none of these items and str-less bows existed and have roughly 140 str after mw >_>.

Since no one here has given actual stats on items yet, I'll post it:

Base: 4 str
HTP: 22 str
CZH: 21 str
E-Ring 1: 7 str
E-Ring 2: 7 str
2 Zombie Rings: 2 str

That's 63 strength from equips+base, but there are other easy ways to add strength, as if you use archer overalls and shoes (though people usually go purple snowshoes now), you'd get 4-10 strength from that, and you can get earrings with +str potential (maybe +8 and +4?), and scroll a cape for strength (the important part is the potential, so you might as well make use of those 5 slots). Also, black belts add 5 str, though you'd probably be better off with a strength belt.

As I said at the start, with 150 mill, it might be a tad difficult, but with more funding, going strengthless or smart strength (tailoring your base strength to what you have in equipment) wouldn't be difficult. Just work with what you have, and go from there.

howdy, i would go STR-Less if i were you.
My BM has 50 base str. (made the char in v.40 or so)
now with all the normal BM stuff i have 196 str total... you as MM needs max 120 str for a reverse xbow.

I have 20 STR at the moment for insurance. And If I want to go back to 4 it won't bust my Freaking bank. I'll consider what I'll do when I hit 30 I suppose.

Bowmen equipment doesn't require STR. So you could ideally go STRless, imo.

But the weapons need str=level for xbows, and level+5 for bows

my ancient archer has 90 base strength xD

50 is a good number to aim for, lower if you can. Just remember that the lower the number the better. But dont limit yourself to a single overarching "god" number. Only do what you can afford to have.

Making money is not a big deal, but spending IRL money to make it is. So about 300M a month is my budget. And I think maybe 20~50 would be good yea?

Equipment = Shoes, Overall, Cape, Glove, Hat, Rings.
Weapon = Bow, Crossbow.

Do you see the difference?

Shut up. I can be whatever I want. And what's this MM bandwagon going on? If you don't know I've been a Ranger for 5 years. I believe I can have the right to play as whatever class I f'ucking want.
