This Osama case is fishy...

Now, I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories such as those real crackpot teories that CIA/US did 9/11 or that Al-Qaida is a puppet organization created by US.

BUT, I have to admit that there's something fishy in death of Osama Bin Laden.

Few points:

• US said that they had killed Osama. Why didn't they capture him if he had no weapons?

• US said that they had dunked Osamas body to the ocean. Why did they destroy the evidence so fast?

• US didn't publish the photos of dead Bin Laden.

• White house is changing the story about the operation.

• George W. Bush denied Obamas invitation to the Ground Zero.

• DNA test results remain unpublished.

I think my dad (or was it some news thing) was saying that it is traditional to dump a body at sea within 24/48 hrs of death in some religion (probably a bunch of other requirements that fit the bill with him I don't remember).

He's dead.
I don't think Al Qaeda would have said the same thing in a public address if the American government was lying.

So you wanted him taken alive, but then once hes dead you want his body paraded about as some sort of trophy?

I can tell you exactly why his body was disposed of in the ocean.

Keeping it in american property risks people having his body potentially be recovered by Al Qaeda. No-one wants more attacks on anyone, keeping it would be a risk with no real advantage.
They couldn't give him a grave, this man was responsible for mass murder, any grave site would be destroyed if it was known his remains were there. Also, would anyone really want tax money spent on his burial? Not really. Dropping it in the ocean stops that, and prevents the other side recovering it and using his body as a symbol, while still giving him a burial.

The "stated" reason for burial at sea is that it is a traditional way that they bury their dead. The real reason is, if they didn't, Al Qaeda could create a shrine on his gravesite and make him into some sort of martyr.
The reason it wasn't a "capture him alive" mission was because that would put free world citizens EVERYWHERE in an incredible amount of danger. If we captured him alive, the terrorists would have a ton of leverage, saying they would bomb this or that if we didn't release him then use it as public justification if we did not, or they could capture innocent citizens and say they will kill them if he is not returned to them, any number of things.

Facts aren't exactly accurate coming from the other side of the world immediately after it happens. It takes time to get facts straight. If they had said nothing from the start, people would think they're hiding something or whatever. Or another source would report their account of what happened. People get pissy over everything.
