I'm so lucky
#1
[SIZE="2"] Two days ago I scrolled a 10att wg for a friend. He was happy and later on asked me to use an ee on it. I told him it would go BOOOOM but he didnt listen. And it went BOOOM.

Today we decided to try again and this was how it turned out:

I scrolled 12att wg for myself and two 10att wg for him. Big Grin
I feel sooo lucky right now I'd scroll some more but I only have 14m left :[

Why would you use an Enhancement scroll on a pair of work gloves anyway?

Yeah....don't use EE's on 10 atk WGs, you'll just drop the value.

Based on this thread, I'm pretty sure he doesn't realize that, along with all the other people who EE their wgs.

So we laugh at him, but don't explain?

Lash, EE do not, as a rule, add attack to gloves. Only to weapons. Even if the EE had passed, you most likely would have gotten a bit of STR/DEX/INT/LUK or maybe accuracy or some other worthless stat.
And your gloves would have become non-MTSable, since enhanced items can't be sold in MTS. This, of course, greatly lowers the meso value of the glove, since apparently most people who buy 10att wg do it to sell them on MTS. (And most people who buy them on MTS do it to sell them for meso? I don't think I'll ever understand Maple economics).

Sometime there's a need for mesos and sometimes there's a need for NX.

e.g. I found a stonetooth in bello months ago, but i could barely get anything for it meso wise. If i wanted mesos, I could stick it into MTS, get nx, buy WGs, and then get mesos, which would be a better rate.

Some people buy wgs to xfer mesos to other servers

Actually, they do if the attack is high enough. But high enough means past 19 ATT and they'd only add 1 ATT in that case anyway, and in THAT case, who would be crazy enough to EE gloves of that worth? (I know, I'd be surprised.)

Anyway, grats OP. :B

Show some proof. No one has ever confirmed it by showing either a video or screenshot.

With anything other than w.atk, the chances of a useful bonus (that is, gain to something it already has and you want) are really slim.

I enhanced my 20 str top, and it only gained +5 wdef. No gain in str/dex/luk/int.

Haven't tried it on any gloves cause I don't have spare 19-20 att gloves lying around.

Don't know about confirmation (I've heard several people say it's worked, though) but it makes sense when you think about it. Lower leveled weapons (lower base attack) would gain 2 attack, and as they have more, they would gain more attack (Enhancing my Nisrocks gained 3 attack every time, but my Engaw gained 4). People claim that attack gained from enhancements is random and they simply don't work on gloves but attack is actually gained based on how much an item already has. It's just idiotic to try and enhance gloves for attack unless you really have the resources to risk enhancing a high attack glove, though.

This could just be speculation, though, now that I think about it. But the point still stands that enhancing 10 attack work gloves is stupid because it simply will not gain anything past a random stat and/or some def, lol.

I WOULD like to see this confirmed for myself, actually. :I

5 ATT.
7 10%s (3 ATT each) = 21 ATT.
26 att.
3 extra attack from Enhancements.

Don't pick at it and just accept it.
I've had gloves I've enhanced that have gained attack and there are some gloves in Windia that have 28 ATT (A BWG with 2 stars, he smega'd it prior to that and it was 27 att).

[SIZE="2"]Well, I think its more probable that he used 7 10%s . With duped WS it shouldnt be hard. Tongue
While with Chaos Scroll it depends way more on luck, considering it can make the item loose stats.
I think Maria Colette is right, ee can give att but only on high att work gloves.

Locked is right. Equipment Enhancements can add attack on gloves. It's rare, but I've had it happen on mine as well. I don't know why people like to think they don't add attack. Took me 5 enhancements to even get 1 att though.

Correct me if im wrong but AE adds attack ,like a chaos scroll and doesnt add random shet like EE, my friend used a AE on his MS shield (22att) and it came out 25att only 1star, same goes for some gloves from my friends.
