Random heals while attacking?
#1
Trained for about two and a half hours at LHC today, noticed some random blue numbers while I was attacking occasionally. They do seem to be healing my HP, but I can see no reason for this heal to happen. Specifically, no heal lines on any of my potential equips.

There's a faint, blue 636 in there, it is a heal but I have no idea where it's coming from. Will provide additional information if necessary.

Total shot in the dark: Maybe it's from Combat Orders + one of your skills?

Otherwise I have no idea.

I thought there was a healing platform in that map, but it turned out that wasn't the case.
Are you sure you don't have any potential lines?

Triple checked my potential. This was happening at Crockies too.

And you aren't wearing one of the special equips that healed a % of hp/mp when you killed a mob?

such as this (turns out it seems to be flat HP/MP not %):

i was thinking something like that, maybe a line on the weapon or something, but he said no lines., also, my DB has one of those, it looks just like that when it gets healed.

Not listed on any of my equips.

No, that was just the clearest screenshot I could get of the heal. I have others but I took them too late, so the numbers were almost faded away.

That's what I was guessing, but I have no idea which skill I have would heal me. It wasn't happening to anyone in my party, so it had to be a shadower skill, if it was a skill.

As a Page I(or maybe the mob) always got healed when I pg on a weak att. mob, the number is always 1 thou...

As a Shadower, I don't receive any random healings. So it isn't any of your skills.

Does it only happen when you attack? If so, try out different skills. This is a complete guess, but maybe something is up with the invincibility frames BS has?

Thats just the PG glitch effect, you (usually) see a blue 1 damage whenever you bump a mob. It doesn't heal you and even heroes have this.

Yeah, it only happens when I attack, but it's activated on BS, SB, and BoT. Never happens with ME, though.

@Locked Might be some side effect of CO breaking the cap for BS or Meso Mastery, then.

He said he checked his potential equips, none of them heal.

I was gonna guess HP draining skill but Shadowers don't have those, do they? :I (yes I know that was answered already)

If it really is CO, that's a weird effect. o_o

I noticed this a while back, think i posted something about it, but that blue colored dmg only seems to appear under the right conditions. Target has reduced accuracy through Flash-bang, or Threaten, and you have Meso Guard up. I Think its some sort of glitch that happens with MG, because if the target is only blinded and MG isn't up, you will never receive blue dmg. Ive only witnessed this on my shadower, never any of my other characters. As for the meaning and reasons why it happens is still unknown to me.

Similarly, but slightly different is the case where you take "MP damage" such as @ zak, where you take 1 dmg but have much of your MP removed. If you didn't have MG up you would only see 1 dmg taken, with MG up a blue colored dmg is displayed representing the loss of MP. But once again, the MP dmg is different from this case.
