Isn't this stupid?

Well I had an account that was glitched banned in July of 2010(according to nexon). So I sent them a ticket saying this.

ME:

Hello there Nexon Employee. I have been wondering why I can't world transfer? I was glitched banned in July 2010. I don't know why I'm not allowed to do this. It stupid. Why would you not let me. All I wanted to do was to move. If you think about this its kinda stupid. All I want to do is change worlds because I don't like the world that I'm in. I don't want to change worlds and make a whole new charcter again. Thats stupid. Can I just please move worlds?

This was their answer on 4/17

Thank you for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, due to your account's abuse history, you are not able to purchase this item at this time. However, we have started the process to have the ban history removed as you have been cleared for this. This process will take 2 weeks to complete. After the ban history is removed you will still need to wait an additional 30 days to be able to purchase this item.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Isn't it great? Even though you worded your ticket as poorly as possible, with almost no reasonining or arguments, they are actually going to liberate your account in 1.5 months.

I know you may have wanted to take advantage of the sale there's now but you should have started appealing to the ban as soon as you decided to world transfer.

If it had been me handling your ticket, I would have said something along the lines of:

Dear Player,

Let me see if I understand this. You were banned and yet you would like to transfer worlds. Your entire argument for your cause is based around the fact that "it is stupid". Frankly, we(Nexon) find that incredibly stupid. For awhile we considered your request, however, granting it would make us look pretty stupid, given the stupid argument you used.

I suppose since I'm not helping you, it would be stupid for me to apologize.

Y'know, it just occurred to me that about 50 tickets(2-3 of them well thought out and very deserving of help) were likely auto-answered so that this GM could jump through hoops(by Nexon's standards) to assist you. It depresses me.

You know, before they wanted to clear scania out like they are now, i sent in a ticket for a very similar reason and they flat out refused to do a single thing about it. I'm wondering now-- If i sent another ticket will they just appeal my history?

Are you guys serious? That's a form reply as well. Pretty sure I've seen this very text posted here before. They do so many false auto-bans (what the OP called "glitch ban"), which they then lift but for some reason don't erase from your history, that they have a form letter just to deal with those cases of people wanting to world-transfer after having had an auto-ban lifted (months and months before).

But seriously, I've got several good responses from nexon already. There was the time when they forgot to add the exception to brazilian IPs with an old account and they also answered me nicely. Basically, you just have to write a well thought ticket and avoid certain words or phrases.

hey, who knows, maybe the GM's told him to wait 1.5 months not because it's required, but because of his poor writting... or simply want to do nothing and hope you forget f3

It's so real hackers cannot run away with it. If banned people weren't limited from these features, real hackers could name change or transfer and pretend to be legit to the rest of the community.
