Atlantica Online

Alright so as most of you may know the game Atlantica Online is now a Nexon game. Seeing this I thought it sounded cool so I downloaded it and fired it up..... one problem. I seem to be stuck on some main menu thing. All I see it the Atlantica logo and in the background there is a battle going on. No menu nothing. If I press escape a menu pops up but the only options I can click are return to game, log out, and quit game. Anyone know whats going on? Is it because the servers are not up yet after the merge? Is this game even worth it?

Have you tried reopening the game after that? I got that once initially after the migration, but I haven't had it again since then.

Also, I'll post what I said to Myles in IRC th eother day about playing it.

<+Derek> @myles: The game is still worth a shot to play. Even if nDoors sucks ass, Nexon will mostly be running it now, which means the game can't get any worse than it has

<+Derek> but like Maple it's got a massive portion of the game that relies on paying

<+Derek> most of the item mall items are tradable in game, which is nice
<+Derek> and they don't actually frown upon using gold (the in-game currency) to buy items from the IM

<+Derek> most of the GMs for the game are quite awesome, too.
<+Derek> if you have xfire you can add some of them, and get in-game issues resolved much quicker than the ticket system
