I like the idea/effort they put into it. It's a better way to gain interest in the game than those god awful commercials or walls of text they call AcornStory. Sadly the 'comedy' aspect is geared towards the young crowd.

Oh my God, I instantly recognized the video, this was made by the same guy who made "The True MapleStory" and "Another Maple Story." I love this, haha.

EDIT: Found his post about when he was contacted from Nexon too. So the cartoon wasn't made by any of the staff, but rather an old player, which to me is a good move.

I have watched all of these and think they're all kinda "meh".

The leeroy Jenkins reference was prolly the highlight of the series so far, but again I think this video is intended for like, 12 year old noobs.
The problem with that is... I just found out about the new one while digging through SouthPerry while on a boat to eldestien, and found the other 2 much in the same way. So the question is; how many noob 12 year olds start digging through the message boards before they choose their first class?

But anyway for Nexon this is pretty good. I have come to kinda expect little from them, so the very fact that this doesn't TOTALLY blow, is an accomplishment on their part.

I think it's somewhat funny.
Then again, I have a very immature family (with 6 and 8 year old brothers), so my standard for humor is quite low haha

I still find it ironic that a player who used to HATE this game now is writing and animating cartoons for it.

Although its decent for the audience its geared towards.

The Cartoon is funny but lame..

As far as I know this is fan-made. Nexon just asked the maker(s) to make more of them. So I wouldn't criticize it if I were you. Unless you can actually do better.
