LHC Equips
#1
First, I know that to get the equips, you need medals. But a few things:

How can you get the medals?

Which NPC do you talk to to trade in the medals?

Finish murl's quest then you can be able to trade.

Kill Von Leon for unpurified tokens.
Use 50 totems on a Von Leon token to get a silver one, gold you need 100 totems.

Is Von Leon the only way to get unpurified tokens? I don't forsee myself fighting him any time soon.

Yup.

Where do these "totems" come from?

Sadly only von leon drops the tokens. The fight isn't easy, but it isn't that hard either if you know what to do. (Or if you can output a massive DPS to kill the mini castles to prevent von leon to recover hp.)

@above: killing ramdom mobs in VLC. Its the red hairy thing they drop sometimes.

Totems are incredibly easy to get. They drop almost every mob kill, sometimes more than one. The only issue is getting the coins. Considering you can only fight him once a day, and he seems to like dropping only 1 coin, LHC equips aren't exactly going to be easily obtained.

sauce?

Sounds kind of ridiculous for an entire expedition to take him down for the sake of 1 coin, considering you need 10 for one weapon.

So one coin = one LHC equip?

Derp, nevermind. Different question. How many coins are needed for one LHC equipment, other than weapon?

10 GOLD coins for weapons.
5 silver for..errr...hats
4 silver for shoes I think?
3 silver for gloves
5 gold for overall?
-cannot remember off top of head-
You guys know you can just finish mult's quest and talk to the npc again to see what you need for everything in store format, right?

I believe 5 overall, 4 hat, 3 gloves, 2 shoes, 1 cape? It's something like that. So to get the whole 5 set bonus, you need to kill Von Leon 25 times, and be the lucky guy that gets the medal too. And considering the bonuses of the set pale compared to potential, it's probably pretty easy to blow up this set.

I'm just gonna wait for chaos and level 130 equips. At least those sound more reasonable to get.

What do the Chaos level 130 equipment require? IIRC they are also Lionheart themed equipment, so this Chaos LHC equipment is to be easier to get and is better as well, or something like that?

I have yet to do LHC until rings are leveled up, finals are over, and Mech is early 4th job. :|

130 set is crafted gear with heavy PvP reward requirements and has nothing to do with Lionheart.

How much PVP? I know that proof of ares are needed to craft each item, and don't the 130 blueprints come from the random blueprint item from the PvP store?

That is a ridiculous droprate. Amass a group of 12 and you'll have to keep doing it for 4 months to get everyone their ONE equip. I could get my Reverse much faster than that when it first came out.

This is assuming you do daily runs; most groups cannot realistically run more than twice a week.

The pre-quest itself is very simple.
Just kill a couple Castle Golems for a scroll. If the battle is easy as people make it out to be, then daily runs with some dedication wouldn't be so difficult.
