Lucky Seven Formula Issue

Hmmm...I was training up my night walker as we all know for the new blessing that gives up to 24watt next patch in gms. Hmmm i didn't have mastery maxed but I had L7 maxed. Something strange i noticed was that my dmg was very consistant. What i mean by that is that my min dmg was very close to the max dmg. However when i used vampire my dmg was very low to much higher. The dmg difference was big obviously because my mastery was at lvl 5. L7 should be like that too but since its not like that. Im just wondering if there it has its own formula like how it used be before big bang. Before big bang l7 had a very high multiplier of 5 rather than 3.6. Other attacks like avenger except TT used 3.6. So possibly the same now too? I wonder what the multiplier is. Same or higher? If L7 has its own formula its very possible that TT has its own formula too.

Pretty sure Lucky Seven still has its own damage formula.

However, I'm not entirely sure how it is post-BB. I can look up the old formula and see if it still fits in with the current displayed damage.

Im gonna test on my NL and see how TT is. Maybe i can get an idea of what the formula is if it does has its own formula. Something tells me it probably does.

Well I looked up the old formulas.
Max (per star) : Lucky Seven = [((5.0*LUK)/100)*(Weapon Attack)*Damage Percentage]
Min (per star) : Lucky Seven = [((2.5*LUK)/100)*Weapon Attack)*Damage Percentage]

970 LUK, 61 weapon attack, max L7 (170%)
((5*970/100)*61)*1.7 = 5029
(2.5*970/100)*61)*1.7 = 2514.

My damage displayed is higher than that.

6038*1.7 = 10308 The old formula still works nice, your damage range is consistent with your damage.

Then I'm guessing all it does is ignore mastery.

Edit: Doesn't make sense now that I think about it.
6064*1.7 = 10308* .9 (PDRate) = 9277.

Description: Throws 2 throwing stars based on LUK, regardless of Claw Mastery.

^ i found this thread here finally where it shows this sentence. So claw mastery does not affect L7. However your dmg is higher than what it should be. Could that be because your claw has 6% total dmg or smth? Maybe some pdr ignore?

Im gonna test my NL to see how TT is.

Edit: Some basil people confused everyone totally. I finally realized what that person actually meant after 6 hours of searching on net. >_>

Ill check my NL tonight incase.

TT is based off the damage range now. I can confirm this. The other thing provided is that the calculations have been off for a long time in regards to TT because of the new armor reduction property is explained here.

Lucky Sevens is 1.80*(4 * LUK + DEX) * (Weapon Attack / 100) isn't it? And it has 70% mastery.

I don't know how you could come to the conclusion that it's the old formula. Lucky Sevens isn't weaker than pre-Big Bang.

Wow superbe that explains everything. Hmm i believe the formula is 1.75 rather 1.8. Unless im wrong. But yea other than that it seems all good. I didnt get a chance to go on NL to do d/c problems in guild but yea oh well. K so its all good. all solved.

My weapon attack in that SS would be 12 + 12 + 17 + 12 + 5 + 3 = 61 Weapon attack.
LUK = 970.
DEX = 149.

[1.8(4*970+149)*61/100] = 4423
4423*1.7 = 7520.
4423*.7 = 3096 * 1.7 = 5263

What exactly am I doing wrong lol o.o
At first I thought I was counting my weapon attack wrong, but that wasn't it. So surely, I must be doing something wrong here or I'm just not getting it. I'm interested about it though. I'm positive I'm doing something wrong because the claw multiplier is 1.75 and then the range displayed is higher than the number I calculated. Is there some sort of hidden constant or am I just plain retarded?

You have 86 Weapon Attack in that screen shot. Wait. Which screen shot? The one where you're doing damage, right?

I'm not entirely sure where you're getting 86 from though.
I have 12 atk cape, 12 atk glove, 17 atk blessing, 5 atk ring, 3 attack ring, 12 atk claw. I checked this 5 times.

Your max damage is 6064. You have 970 LUK and 149 DEX. 1.75 * (4 * 970 + 149) / 100 = 70.5075
6064 / 70.5075 = 86. You forgot your Stars? Anyways. Your maximum damage with Lucky Sevens should be 10309 according to your damage range, but it's actually 10603 if you have it maxed according to my proposed formula.
