Lost my cell phone.
#1
Argh.
Damn coat for having a loose pocket and damn rain storm earlier today making me run to my car.

If anyone here has my number (which few do), don't bother with it. I've already gone up to T-Mobile and had the service suspended temporarily til I can get a new phone / let the contract on the phone I lost expire next month anyways.

Okay, so I talked to a sales rep at T-Mobile.

I find myself with three options now, but I have to weigh them equally seeing as how in June I'll not have a need nor access to a phone for two months.

My contract with them expires the 23rd of next month, and yet the time period I have from when I had my contract suspended to the end where if I don't reactivate I'd have to pay an early termination fee is on the 25th. I can just reactivate my account the 22nd and be over and done with the whole ordeal, but now I'm left with three options and I'd like SP's input.

1) Stick to T-Mobile and upgrade to a newer phone with the two year contract. This idea is the least feasible one I feel.
2) Move to another carrier/service provider. This one's tricky, as I really don't care about which company I would go to, but I refuse to own a Samsung phone again. So, I'm going up tomorrow and talking with the recruiter about this and see what ideas he's got, but in the mean time how's everyone's experiences with other carriers been?
3) get a pre-paid phone. Easiest option and most appealing for all my situations.

T-Mobile has deadzones within a mile radius of any full enclosure. Includes your house and colleges.

That's my cynical view of them anyways. I seriously wish there was actual reception in places where I study.

I've never had issues with T-Mobile's coverage area. In fact inside a casino I had full-bar signal whereas my friend with Verizon had nothing.

Why is option 1 least feasible?

In june I'll be going in for basic training for two months.
After that I'm going to A-school, and I dont know if I'd have to pay a roaming fee if I use my phone in MD.
Plus if I get shipped overseas a contract isn't that appealing a thing for a phone to have.
Like I said I'm gonna talk to the recruiters tomorrow when I go for the weekly check-in thing and see what his two cents are on the matter.

Ah, mkay. Not that it matters much then, but I doubt there'll be roaming charges in MD.

The tittle made me think of all the times I loose my cellphone in my room and I have to call myself or ask someone to do so.
As for your problem... Idk

A is better, T- Mobile is a large provider in MD so roaming is unlikely. Also, youre going to want a phone at basic. You get a phone call once a week or so. If you don't have one you will stand out, the last thing you want to do in BMT. I'm stationed at joint base andrews right now, half of the people in this room use T-Mobile. Worst case you get shipped overseas/out to sea and you jsut have to degrade your plan to the cheapest one available, usually 10-20$ which isnt exactly a stretch.

off topic, words new avatar is cute~
