Can you open up Skype chatlogs like how AIMLogger opens chats?

Started using Skype, looked up supposedly where the chatlogs are. I think I found the logs under:

C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Skype\Skype Name\chatsync\2a

Then I found a file called: 2a778bcb68a224c2.dat

Now my question is that is this a Skype chat log? If it is, is there a way to view it without needing Skype? If it's not a Skype chatlog, where are the chat logs located?

Those are the chat logs I believe. They contain all the information for Skype to view your chat history correctly. You shouldn't be able to just open them to view your chat history though. You'll have to browse through your Skype window, I believe.

Mmm okay. I'll fiddle around with the logs and see if I can view them by just opening the chat logs themselves. Thanks Joe.
