How many spaces do you put between sentences?

Just curious. I've always done one. I never knew people used two spaces until I got a work e-mail account.

I switch to 2 spaces if it's a long essay. However, in school growing up, I was always taught with 2 spaces, but I've seen both single and double. Never triple though.

i write down my essays. i post with one though.

Since HTML, LaTeX and programming languages don't care, one.

I mean, I would do one anyway, because it doesn't make sense to use two unless you're back in the 1930s.

That's the article which prompted me to post this thread.

I've always used one space and have never been told otherwise, and aside from the article above, I think this quote from the Wikipedia page sums it up nicely:

"On a typewriter, use two. On a computer, use one."

Always two.

Maybe it's a Michigan thing. I generally use two. Definitely in papers.
