Available on Verizon? Shouldn't it be: Available at Verizon? These guys have worse typos than Nexon Monocle

Available on Verizon's network, so no. It's correct.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

I don't quite understand. Is it that before only AT&T offered iPhones or something?

Yes.

Here in france you can get your iPhones from pretty much any company.

It's more complicated than that in the US, Shidoshi. You have 2 types of telecommunication protocols in the US. GSM(Used Globally) and CDMA(Japan, India and the US). AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM. Verizon and Sprint use CDMA. So Apple has to build 2 phones, with different antennas.

Also factoring that they had signed a 5 year exclusivity deal with AT&T.

I would totally get one if they came to T-Mobile.

Probably going to have to wait till September to get one, when these latest phone contracts are up.

I just replaced my phone with a shiny HTC EVO Shift™ 4G that means my contract won't be up for another two years Tongue

I'm just gonna wait for the iPhone 5. I got a free upgrade left and i'm the only one in the family that hasn't had the newest iPhone near release time since the first one came out.

Score. My upgrade just became available last week and I've been trying to decide on a new phone. Do believe my decision was just made for me =)

WHY.jpg, is it really worth paying for when the HTC Evo does pretty much everything that it does with a much more affordable plan?

Not really? The iPhone has been around since 2007 and look at how far it has come. Oh, that's right, they haven't really changed much at all other than a better processor, more settings to mess around with, a couple of useless features and OOOHHHH IT'S SLIMMER NOW!

and really, the HTC and Droid are no different
