Venomous Star - doing it wrong?

According to pretty much every reference site (including SP's very own extractions), Venomous Star should last for 4 seconds at level 6.

However, I'm only getting 3 seconds. At level 10.

Nexon are notorious for getting skill descriptions wrong. If the extractions say it is 4 seconds at lv 6 then that is what it is...no matter what it says when you hover your mouse over the skill description.

Ah but when I test the skill, it only lasts for 3 seconds, so in this case the description is right.

I do not know where you got the 3 times per monster thing from, but that aint correct because it has no such limitation. Maybe you got it mixed up with the pre BB version. Venom is a DPS booster for bossing and not much else. To say it sucks is a little harsh tho, since it is free damage.

Yea, it is not a good idea to max it before skills like TT, expert throwing star handling, shadow shifter and maple warrior, especially if you do not boss much.

All DoT skills have glitched durations in GMS. This is hell for F/Ps.
