Random Lag Spikes

Anyone else having this problem? It would lag until my computer tells me Maplestory stopped working (Vista). I can assure it's not my internet.

Having an issue where mobs will freeze, but chat still works. Im unsure if this is the same thing.

I'm having a problem with HS muling. Whenever I alt tab, all the monsters will freeze and then I get disconnected by GM Police. Lol.

I think someone can explain this significantly better than I can and I've seen it in other threads, but Alt-Tabbing in Full Screen mode seems to freeze certain parts of the game in the position that you Alt-Tabbed at, allowing others to view your character as "invincible" i.e. mobs walking through them, you stuck (sometimes in the air) as if lagging, etc. Which in turn may be deemed "hacking" by the GM Police

It is fun to come back from an Alt-Tab in the FM though and watch as people with shops move into position like some weird puzzle, sort of like time travel I suppose. Someone give me the name of that cinematic effect, I cannot remember it at the moment but it is similar to a long exposure, perhaps it is called the same thing but I digress.

I just randomly freeze 3-5times a day and have terrible lag spikes. Like Maple just goes to "not responding" mode and I will have to ctrl+alt+delete to get rid of it. Sometimes my whole computer reboots...

That all started after first BB patch. It seems like MS is made to ruin my computer.

I'm having similar issues on my windows XP computer. The last few days everything would freeze as if my internet was lagging (but it wasn't) and then my client would freeze completely and needed to be closed through task manager.

The other issue with alt tabbing also caused me to get the GM disconnection message when I alt tabbed on one of my characters and continued killing on another since mobs were lagging due to the alt tabbed maple.

I had an issue today with Channel 3 mostly. Any time I CCed to Channel 3 and did anything something would cause me to D/C. So I avoided channel 3 and didn't have the issue any more.

Other than dealing with lag, I stopped using the website to login and instead use the GameLauncher. No web browser to create a lag.

From what I understand MS suffers from memory leaks and as a result absorbs a lot more RAM than it should. My computer only runs on 2gb so that's an issue for me. May not be a problem for others with better RAM.
