Question about Tele Mastery
#1
I was wondering if the mana cost of max tele mastery (20) added onto the initial mana cost of teleport? (In a battlemage's case, 22) Or is it just the cost of activating teleport mastery? Also, is the extra travel distance given by tele mastery passive? or do you need to activate the skill to gain the bonus?

The Extra mana cost is only if you turn on the skill. No idea on the distance increase being passive or not.

The buff has no cost to cast, the extra mana is tacked on to the amount teleport is already when the buff is active.

I don't think the teleport range increased. I think the distance added is just how much further you can hit monsters when you teleport. Or maybe it's passive and I didn't see before I maxed it.

The range increase isn't passive. An easy way to test this is to go to the Captain Minidungeon in Herb Town. Pre-BB, you weren't able to to teleport up each platform. Now, you still can't do it with regular tele, but you can do it with tele mastery active.

I can't confirm anything for other classes Teleport Mastery, but for Battle Mages, the distance teleported was the same whether I had Teleport Mastery on or off. I can only assume that the distance is passive for Battle Mages.

Maybe at lower levels you'll feel it more, but once you get enough MP, you won't notice it at all. I don't.
