I've finished reading the entire manga, i'm quite shocked with the ending that Kira dies. it's not what i expected.

but anyways some question still hunts me after the ending. what is the author trying to say with this story?

anyone wanna give their opinion in this?

...that the good guys always win?
Life is more important than righteousness?
I dunno, but it is very thought provoking.
Anyways, the creators came out with a new manga a while ago.

Just wikipediaed it, called Bakuman. Two freshman who wants to be martial art masters :f6:. Sounds lame compared to Death Note.

If Kira is the "good guy," why in the world did he die?

If Kira is the "good guy,"

i felt that the creater is trying to say that justice will NOT prevail, good guy won't always win.

Then again, if you look at it from L's view,
when he died, and Mello & Near succeeded him, it could of shown the "good guys" would always win.
No spoilers for other people plox.
That still doesn't make a big difference, the "good guys" still won. Near is still alive.

lol wiki says manga artists, which could easily be misread as martial artist.
I misread it too cause claw already told me it's martial art master, and i looked at the word and just assumed it's martial artists.

thx for telling me soapy

x] Yeah, I'd understand if he said 'Martial Artists' but 'martial art masters' sounds like he popped it out of his head XD

And no problem [:

I've read the chapters so far, and I like it ^^

i'll go read it too later, and hope to uncover some stuff from the writer.

according to wiki, the writer is rumored to hold his knee on his chair like L in death note o.O

maybe that's why the writer's on L's side

Kira/Light used the sense of justice he got to justify for his actions. People are too scared to commit crimes anymore because they don't want to die. but then again, in the old times, they believed that if they commit a crime, the heavens would punish them.

For people who knows about the series
