Facebook Game stealing Content.

Ok well, I don't know if this should go in Maplestory Discussion or not, seems like the best one, but I found this funny. Also, there are two languages, English and Chinese, I noticed instantly that it was copying content from Maplestory. =/ Just something I thought might be worth a giggle.

Using content is questionably okay.

Making money from that content is wrong in many ways, shapes, and forms. Is he making money on it?

While we're on the subject of theft, does anyone here remember Aurora Blade?

I remember being able to find more instances of plagiarism from them, but I think they took down the pictures off their list of monsters. They were directly ripping off monster sprites from MapleStory, Ragnarok, World of Warcraft, and Square-Enix. It was about two years ago and I'm not sure if they ever changed their monsters and I don't know if they got in trouble for what they did.



Well, hopefully this particular game gets more attention and a proper punishment is given.

Wonder if they also ripped off the bad customer service too.

But LOL @ Aurora blade. I also noticed an element or two from LaTale's UI there right off the bat... hm. Talk about aiming low though.

I think facebook will take down that game, but i don't thinik Aurora blade will ever be taken down, That and another MMO (Fist of Fu) are both developed in China, not generalizing but it seems to be common practice there. I mean, just check out the totally original Vii! Fist of Fu was known to be a very blatant rip off of Elsword yet Aeria was still able to localize it with no hitches... something i'm still kinda disgusted with them about on a moral level.

Celion recolor is in the very top of the window. Read the combat log.

Most of the people on facebook have never heard of an MMO. Then they get presented with this kind of concept, and msot of them are facinated. Then they spend their money on it.
