11-20 a lot slower now?
#1
So I joined the bandwagon and moved myself on over zenith after big bang finished. I did 1-10 fast you know maple island(would have gone faster but there were so many people there.). Then I started 11-20 and BOY did it go slow. It just seems a lot slower post-BB then it did pre-BB. Maybe its because of the absence of Ep.1 or maybe its because I was grinding on blue ribbon pigs. It just seemed a lot slower. Thoughts? Goggleemoticon

For me it seems slow because I havent the heck of an idea whewre anything is. It is going to take a while learning where all the maps go. The layout of Victoria Island is not at all user friendly any more.

What are you talking about? Its super user friendly with the six-way pat- er roa- er trai- er stree- er.... whats it called again? Anyway its alot faster to walk between towns then it was. Especaily towns like henesys -> perion or Ellinia -> Kerning.[/COLOR]

To those who know only the old maps(5 years of that bro). The new maps are hella user friendly it's just going to take a bit of time to get used to 'em.

Maybe its just cause I keep going in circles and can never find the monsters I'm looking for. Yes things are closer together but I dont think the World layout or the individual maps layouts are better than before.

After 5 years of the old maps I knew where everything was and could head straight to whatever monster I needed to hunt for quest items.

Open the world map, hover over the dots. It tells you what monsters and NPCs are there Wink

Its definitely faster.

I was lv 13 killing octis, which I one hit getting 1.05%. Before i was lucky to even make .50% per one hit kill at that level. The curve isn't NEARLY as sharp as it was before so my leveling speed was fairly consistent past that. unlike before where that .50% shrunk by the lv even faster.

It's a lot faster to me, I went from 12-20 in no time just by hunting Evil/Curse Eyes on my magician.

Maybe it seems to go slower, because the quests for the classspecificdemonheadhats gave tons of exp, as well as a few quests that seem to be deleted now.

Yeah, those were basically a quest a level up to 18 or so. My rogue's level 16 with very little effort on the new server, though.

Kinda depressing that level 18 Double Stab does less damage than level 1 L7 (both using the noob weapons), but hey... BB's not perfect.

I got 10-20 in an hr and a 1/2. You just need to know where you're levelling.

10-13, make sure you talk to your job advancement npc and do ALL the quests he gives you and do the Training Center quests too, that should get you to 13 in no time flat.

13-21 (or 26 if you're hard core) - Blue Ribbon Pigs. They might recover from kb fast, but they spawn so fast and give a decent amount of experience for a lv 13 mob. I personally got a level every two minutes from them w/o ANY lag.

The Episode 1 Hat quest at lv 18 gives a whopping 6k exp reward, enough to bring you to lv 19, 99.97% once completed..

Thats exactly what I did. Then 21-25 Mixed golems. That was super fast. 25-30 I think I am gonna do a mix of Subway PQ so I don;t have to buy pots for a LLLOOONNNNGGGGG time and zombie lupins.

I've been NPCing excess pots so far, the pots I loot are easily adequate to train with. At level 18 I'm already up to 300 blue and 250 orange pots.

And yeah, Blue Ribbon Pigs have a nice flat map you ca ngo back and forth on.

10 - 20 I did while exploring Vic Island so I can't say much about them.

However, I went 22-26 (460.25%) in an hour on the golem temple entrance. Crap equips, lots of interruptions due to other players passing by, no buffs of any kind and using a bandit with double stab.

Imo, fast as fuk. And the experience could have been way better.

Now I'm going to train at mixed golems mini dungeon. Got to 27 in ~12 minutes last night before login out. Loving this so far.
