Do i have to max out every skill to be able to add next job skills?
#1
I can't add to a 2nd job skill cause it says i need skills in 1st job, but all i have left is magic armor and bolt, both useless skills. Or is this a Nexon pineapple up as usual?

You can't spend first job skill points in second job skills.

You need 61 (67 for Mages) in 1st job, 121 in 2nd job, 151 in 3rd job, to spend points in the next job upward.

i already spent 61 points in 1st job skills, I'm not trying to spend 1st job points on 2nd job.

I had the same issue, but i maxed out magic armor anyways, and have 7 now in bolt. I figure we'll be getting the reset scrolls anyways.

Yeah. Stupid useless bolt. Guess we need the SP reset anyway.

All Magicians have to have at least 7 Magic Bolt. I don't see what the issue here is.

This.
Advanced late before they refunded SP for it? Too bad. Still have to meet the totals.

for my level 148 DrK, I have

1st job = 20 slash blast, 20 power strike, 10 HP Boost, 11 Iron Body = 61SP
2nd job = 20 Weapon Mastery, 20 Final Attack, 20 Weapon Booster, 20 Iron Will, 20 Hyperbody, 20 Ground Smash, 1 Enhanced Basics = 121SP
3rd job = 20 Elemental Resist, 20 Dragon Buster, 20 Dragon Fury, 20 Sacrifice, 30 Dragon Roar, 1 Magic Crash, 20 Dragon Blood, 10 Dragon Wisdom = 141SP?
4th job = 5 Aura, 1 Hex(attack), 20 Hex(buff), 10 Stance, 10 Beholder, 30 Berserk, 1 Magnet, 9 Maple Warrior, 1 Rush = 87SP

They all make sense except for 3rd job.. anyone else have this happen to them?

Happened to my NL...
1st job = 61 sp
2nd job = 111 sp
3rd job = 151 sp
4th job = 27 sp (at level 128)

I think it's cause I reset the wrong skills with SP resets... before the patch I had about 10 3rd job SP in 2nd job (maxed out drain/booster instead of getting Shadow Mesos), 10 2nd job SP in 1st job (maxed Dark Sight instead of drain/booster), and then recently I got 10 free 3rd job resets, and managed to move 10 L7 into 10 Shadow Web or something.

I ended up dumping 11 3rd job SP into 2nd job to raise up Shadow Resistance, so my actual spendings are 61-122-140-27, which doesn't add up to enough SP for my level (128).

I did not dump any points in the earlier job skills, yet I lack 10 points.

I put some later job sp in earlier job skills before BB (on a bishop) and I didn't miss any points.

What would this have to be for a dual blader class, during their x+ job levels?

Some classes are completely lacking SP, such as buccaneers.

The missing 10 SP are supposedly from Drain's master level that went from 30 to 20. I'm also missing 10 SP on my NL, as well as a lot of other Sin's (that maxed Drain), and Hermit's.

I'm missing 5 SP on my Bishop.

And one warning: the SP assignment checks that you have at least 61 (or 67) in 1st job, 121 in 2nd, 151 in 3rd.
It *should* be checking that you have 61 (or 67) in 1st, 182 (or 188) in 1st+2nd, 333 (or 339) in 1st+2nd+3rd.

If for some reason you decide maxing out the last 2nd job skill is more important than some 3rd job skill - you can't. Any extra points in an earlier job come out of your 4th job SP.

I'm not sure whether you can still do it when levelling up normally.

Aww, rats. So this means us NLs will be stuck with having 11 points in 3rd job worse than useless shadow meso instead of using it to get a longer 2nd job booster duration.

If this is true, it actually rapes Arans because anyone who wasn't stupid spent 10~11 skill points from 3rd job maxing Final Charge and getting more Booster instead of getting 11 Whirlwind, which still misses as much as it doesn't stun by the way.
