MapleStory on a VM
#1
I use Windows 7 64bit, and therefore I can't run Maplestory.
Until now, I used the WMware Player in order to play the game. I've installed a Windows XP Home 32bit on the VM.
Recently, It just stopped working...
When I open Maplestory, I just see a white screen, and hear the bgm.
I've tried reinstalling the Maplestory, the VMware Player, and the host graphics drivers but it didn't help.
I've opened the Setup.exe and tried every frequency. it worked for every frequency on the Setup.exe(I saw their logo moving) but didn't fix the problem in Maplestory.
I've tried all the tests in dxdiag(Direct3D and DirectDraw) and they all worked fine.
I searched for solutions in google and found a lot of people with this problem, but none of the solutions I found worked for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: After the last patch, I can't even see or hear anything. The process is running, but after Hack-shield starts, nothing is happening.

Technically you can run MapleStory as a native Windows 7 program but you can't use Compatibility Mode for it. 0.92 added some support for basic Vista/7 support but it's not completely perfect however reports are coming in that you can now boss hunt without fearing disconnects.

I tried that.
I get disconnected immediately when I change channel to ch1.
I also don't see some backgrounds. They just disappear.
And I just get random DC's every 30-40 minutes
