Kinda slowpoking here by a few days, but in case anyone hasn't seen:

Official site for it is here, and it's coming out C79.

Debating purchase. Already buying 8 and the TIPs game and I can barely afford those.

Also kinda mad that they all ship the 1st of January, since I'm getting a big December AmiAmi order and saving on shipping would be nice.

Looks cool. I'd probably be more excited if I didn't suck at fighting games.

How do you guys feel about the character list? If this is the complete list, 10 characters seems small for a fighting game; but that might just be me. Given the massive size of Umineko's cast and the amount of characters with a good potential for a fighting game, you'd at least expect to see a few more characters; too. I'm a bit shocked by the seemingly absense of Lambda and Bernkastel, also- though they might show up in the background of some of the maps, at least.

Still, I've got a lot of faith in this game and that it's going to be awesome.

Keep in mind that there will probably be an expansion eventually, since this apparently only has characters from 1-4.

...I've only read up through halfway through 3, but I've been spoiled for 3 and 4 and some of 5 and 6. ;_;

Lots of screenshots here. Also has some EP8 screenshots and some screenshots of Tsubasa (a collection of the extra Tips).

Also
>Chiester 410
>Winchester 410
GM Battler confirmed?
And the rest can be said without spoiling, but you'll just have to rely on not using the image to help you out. Gaap, Bern, and Lambda confirmed? Assuming that's a character select screen and you can pick everyone in the image there.

Also, this image makes it seem like Ange will play kinda like Carl Clover from Blazblue.

Well- thoughts, anyone?

The animation isn't as smooth as I was hoping. It reminds me of Mugen.

I have to say that it's more smooth than I expected, but this comes from someone that's seen lots of doujin fighters that have pretty lackluster animation. I thought it was pretty fine.

Seems like the typical 2D fighter. I can't see anything bad about it, I sorta like how you can alternate between characters during the midst of a battle (like most). I can't really give a comment on it unless I actually play it, because seeing videos doesn't really help me.

Also, AmiAmi has it listed up. So you guys can probably pre-order/purchase it now.

Yeah, kind of VS series inspired is one thing I thought. One thing that's nice is that the switching can work mid-attack too.

Related. Only one I could think of at the moment that was an actually seriously made game; since all that popped into my head right now was Higurashi vs Touhou Universe and a really bizarre Tsukihime one.

Nah, they've just put up the pages (for whatever reason) for the games; actual pre-orders don't start till Monday the 29th.

I will be using this week to discover what time AmiAmi updates, so I know how early I need to wake up, like some kind of Seacats ninja, in order to pre-order everything.
