That's a pretty nice list, Swerve. I like and have heard of most of these titles. You've got pretty good taste.
Also, would you happen to be using a MyAnimeList, a spreadsheet, or something of the sort? You listed your titles out alphabetically, and not only that, you also recorded down that many titles; so it makes me wonder.
Seconding
Welcome to the NHK
Yakitate! Japan (particularly recommending since you like Addicted to Curry)
New Recommendations
Detroit Metal City
Franken Fran
Love Roma
Planetes
Solanin
Yotsuba&!
Basing my recommendations off your titles, and knowing you. Seems to me you're looking mostly for an easy read, a good comedy, an easygoing read, or a fairly mature read; but not something very heavy or very serious. I could post a few manga recommendation charts, but I'm too lazy to censor the boobs out in the preview of Ghost in the Shell right now, and it's not entirely as personal as us handpicking a few titles for you.

What is this "Watashi ni xx shinigami" you speak of? It's certainly no manga I've ever heard of.

I find this hilarious because Psyren is the second least popular manga in Shounen Jump. SWOT is the least popular.

What is this "Watashi ni xx shinigami" you speak of? It's certainly no manga I've ever heard of. Watashi ni xx Shinasai is what it's called. I always forget, but i know I've read most of the chapters and I can't believe I actually spent that much time reading it. Girly mangas are hard for me to get interested in. I like more of the shounen/ecchi/mystery/fantasy/harem stuff

Based off this, I'm throwing in Maison Ikkoku; balancing slice of life with comedy makes it neither too serious nor too lax. Also going to suggest Battle Angel. Not much comedy as much as drama but it's short and leaves you something to think about (9 volumes for the first story).

It's Shinasai. <_< Anyways, based on Swerve's interests, seems like he's only interested in mostly shonen stuff. Elfen Lied was a good read, imo.

I think the one Swerve would like the most is Deadman Wonderland or The Breaker. It seems to fit the categories of things he likes

Deadman Wonderland is too convoluted. I've read all the chapters, but the characters don't seem to stick. The plot also seems erratic and even though continuity is present, it doesn't seem to really matter who dies or what happens in the past. The Wretched Egg and the Red Man are taking too long to explain. I prefer large themes to be completed by mid-arc and not to be this pervading question that makes me wait for the whole entire series to finally find out the answer.
The Breaker is too predictable. I've read all the chapters, but you can kind of predict what is going to happen next and the manga is guilty of stretching out the plot. Plot stretching is fine if there is something that can be enjoyed from the process, but I can't quite find that in The Breaker anymore. The actions scenes are nice, but the series itself isn't something that I would go back and read from the beginning.
Elfen Lied got weird when it became all about mating and spreading sperm. Actually Elfen Lied was pretty much always weird with the dual personality and the hand-like super powers. If a character has to be mean, then I'd prefer that they just be mean. I don't want to have to wait and say, "Oh no. Sure hope that the dual personality doesn't kick in here and she totally kills everyone because that would be terrible if that happened by chance." It has that Deadman Wonderland feel where there is that sinister crazy double personality that could do anything anytime and I just don't care because if something crazy is going to happen, then it should just happen already. And not because some whacko double personality kicks in. That just seems like a plot device.
I'll check out Maison Ikkoku and Battle Angel.
Hunter x Hunter, I've read all the chapters but felt that the series ended at the end of the videogame arc. The new chapters are a little off-kilter with the ants and somehow seem to lose sight of the previous arcs in terms of characterization, plot, ect.
Mar haven, I've seen some of it and I'm not sure if I like it, but I'll look at it if I have time.
Tang, Mx0 wasn't popular at all in Japan and had to end early and Medaka Box usually winds up bottom five in the questionairre list. SWOT is enjoyable to me because I know that something will happen every chapter.

They are prisoners, so the management treats them like animals. They are given absolutely no rights whatsoever.
Remember that damned collar?

No. But it just doesn't seem to matter who dies. Like honestly, Seiji could die, and it wouldn't be a big deal. Or that guy from Owl who was the leader. They die and Ganta is clutching his head, but it really isn't a big deal. They just have other prisoners become his new friends and give the dead prisoners a flashback or two. After Ganta is done with his short term BSOD he's off running the next task to get out of the prison. Also Smooth, you're right. I pretty much like seinen titles or ridiculous humor titles that move quickly. But humor itself is a tricky thing to place. The last series I got into was Genshiken which was pretty good for having a subtle realistic humor working through from beginning to end. That was a good series. And I already have been reading Franken Fran. I'm not quite sure I would list it as a favorite though, even though it performs a similar function to Kongo Bancho, Medaka Box, and SWOT.

Hmm, well I dunno how much some of these fit in with your tastes, but here's a few that might be worth checking out for you:
әnígmә (Psychological Action/Drama)
Angel Densetsu (Slice of Life w/ some fighting)
Aiki (Fighting + Ecchi mostly)
Akumetsu (Philosophical Drama? I guess w/ Heavy Action)
Change 123 (Fighting + Ecchi mostly)
Dengeki Daisy (Romance w/ Mystery)
Gokusen (Highschool Teacher + Yakuza)
Hajimete No Aku (Wacky Slice of Life)
Lost+Brain (Psychological Action/Drama?)
Yureka (Fantasy Fighting)
My descriptions are probably pretty poor, but I'd say go, read a few chapters and see if any of it strikes your fancy.

enigma is too new to claim as a favorite, but it is interesting and has potential. It reminds me of Code Breaker, even though I can't quite put my finger on it, and I don't like Code Breaker. Therefore I hope that it doesn't turn out like that at all. Perhaps its the people being tied together by powers part for no apparent reason that seems to make me interrelate the two. Who knows.
Aiki is too eichi and barely serious to constitute a fighting genre. I think it's just an echi series given the absence of any serious moments in the manga.
Akumetsu was ridiculous.
Change123 is too drawn out, echi, and boring. And multiple personality disorder. Have I told you how I have this aversion to plots with multiple personalities?
Dengeki Daisi, conclusion is already known and everything is just being drawn out.
Hajimete, no. Not funny.
Lost+Brain, the series had no substance or depth. The concept was interesting, but the execution was not effective at all.
Yureka, the series is just... bland? Except for the transgender element when he possesses Yureka's character which are just minor parts of the plot and still... bland.
I'm going to be gone this weekend. But I'll read and respond to comments when I get back on Monday. I'll look at titles that I haven't read already even if I haven't mentioned them in this thread and I will most likely write frank comments about how I feel about them.

Alright, out of what I previously recommended, Solanin might be for you.
Also adding Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer/Hoshi no Samidare. It's a seinen with the story of a surreal shonen, but the author adds a certain realism to the fights in the series. If you've ever seen FLCL, there's a bit of tribute paid to it and The Pillows in this series; and the overall key theme of the series is what it means to be an adult and to grow up.
Any thoughts on Yakitate Japan? You mentioned "ridiculous" humor to be more your thing, this series works nicely.
