What do you think will happen to mapleSEA?

Ive been thinking, what willhappen to it. the players ahve been quitting on a steady decline, and realy, more than half of the players have left. what do you think will happen if they hit near rock-bottom?:f6:

well, im thinking that asiasoft is not just MS. will they sell there MS rights? will they merge?9Ive been thinking of this one O_o)

they could shut down (theoretically if that were to happen), or they might merge their ms with say jms, tms, etc just to keep the income flow. that also would leave open the possibility of a re-birth of msea given more interest in it at a later time.

I made this thinking, that MSEA has realy done a justice to MS. singapore was a major accomplishment, as it is one of the best world tours(enough that people have to BUY some maps there so popular)

I wouldnt see that goping away :O

and remember, MSEA is english speaking. they realy can only mrege with english servers(:O)

Yeah, if it becomes (or is predicted to become) a money-loser, because people aren't buying enough stuff to cover the costs of operation, and if they don't want to invest more money in making it attractive again, the only logical things to do would be either shut it down or sell it.

If they shut it down, they can use the servers and other hardware for other purposes. If they sell it, it becomes someone else's problem, and most likely they still keep the hardware. Selling would probably be more profitable for them, but it's also more complicated than simply pulling the plug.

They've been having BIG issues lately (huge latency, server problems, hacking, the rankings were taken down because hackers were getting account info through them somehow.) so it's a lot worse than the worst GMS has gone through. Ranking-based account hacking or guild hack? your choice.

because Singapore is much more supperior at computers, and the way it sounds, its more than just one person.

supposedly the hacker is chinese though there's no way to prove it either way. I bet that if they find him, whoever it is will be going to court.

It looks like another cover-up to try to calm Maplers down. However, it would be extremely ironic if this hacker managed to get that GM's account and cause actual disorder and destruction with it.
