If i remember correctly, It was a real person playing. He took thousands of clips and only put in the ones that worked.

It's a tool-assisted speed run (TAS). It's done with an emulator, extremely slowed down frame rates, save states, among other things. It's a human doing it, and though the playthrough is 10 minutes, something like this probably took 60+ hours at least.

Meh If your just going to cheat why not make it as entertaining as possible?
