It's so gimmickey it makes my eyes hurt. Snake clearly died at 1:40 in his video. And the Love Plus thing is sad (I guess it comes with the dating sim genre). Gyroscopes are also sad, especially if they're as poorly-made as the one in the wiimote. And then there's that price.

Why do you torture me so, Nintendo?

The bad part about this is that you can't experience the 3D unless you have the console in your hands

I'm confused. Hand held system with Glasses-Free 3D and their stock goes down?

The price of the system did it, methinks.

Down 8% today, the videos and price were announced 2 days ago? Maybe it was just last night.

I believe it's not the price, but the timing (it's out February instead of the holiday season).

I'm still excited for it. It comes out in March, so I'll probably end up getting it for my birthday.

Paper Mario 3DS is all that matters to me. Where is my video preview? Sad

they could make an epic smash brother DS that many people would like to see...

I think the thing is hella pricey for a nintendo handheld. their gameboys and DS were all below the $200 range ($150 even). I understand that it's 3d and new and all that, but shelling out $300 for a hand held compared to a $300 console. I dunno.

Keep in mind that it's not $300 though. That's a direct conversion from Japan's price of 25k yen (and it's rounded up a bit, too). It'll probably be $250, if not in the $250-$300 range.

And of course if youre willing to wait a few months, price does drop. Also, doesn't nintendo typically release special editions of consoles when they release an anticipated game? A lot of people might just wait a while until they buy one anyway.

Either way, Im not buying one till there is a working flash cart or hack <<

It costs $ 348 AU for one that is the listed price at the game shop here... I won't be buying one just for that fact. The cheap price of the Wii and DS is what would of helped sell them just as much as how fun they are. The fact the 3DS is so expensive, it isn't that surprising that Nintendo may end up suffering from this move. >_>

Yeah, because who the hell uses their hands when they're using a handheld console? Hurt
