Hello and welcome to the Nexon forums! The Nexon forums are for all players of Nexon games to socialize and engage in discussions with each other. To keep the forums a productive and positive place for all players to gather, please keep discussions G-rated. So welcome and take this opportunity to read our forum policy. Enjoy your visit and remember to have fun!

Forum IDs
A fun, witty, special forum ID is a great way to get started on the forums. When deciding on a forum ID please keep it clean. That means avoid the usage of profanity, sexual language and behaviors, and impersonating Nexon representatives. This includes abbreviations, slang, and other bypasses. Inappropriate forum IDs will result in the account banned from the forums.

Creating a New Thread
We would like to ask all forumers when posting to not use all capital letters. Please make subject titles concise so others can understand, with ease, before reading the thread. The thread body should also be written with detail. Do not assume everybody reading it will understand what you are trying to mention.

Inappropriate Discussions
Keep forum discussions pertaining to the game. Controversial, illegal (pirating, drugs, other illicit etc.), adult (drinking, sexual activities and references) and Terms of Use-breaking (hacking, glitching, account trading, private servers, etc.) discussions are not allowed.

Opinions
Opinions are welcomed on the Nexon forums! With that said, we do expect you to respect the opinions of others, even if you do not agree with them. We want to encourage discussions, not arguments, so please do not use conflicts you have with others forum members as discussion points. If you have an opinion to share about Nexon games and its services, please post it constructively so it will encourage others to do so as well.

Quoting & “Quote Pyramids”
Please do not Quote inappropriate images. It is not something forum members need to read/see twice or more or ever. Also please do not abuse the quote feature by quoting posts over and over to make a “quote pyramid.”

Profanity/Inappropriate Language
The usage of profanity and inappropriate language is not tolerated on the Nexon forums. Our audience range in age so please watch your word choice when posting. There is a language filter on the forums and bypassing the filter with symbols, rearranged letters, or substitute words will be considered as profanity.

English
All threads posted on the Nexon forums need to be written in English. We understand English may not be the native language for some members but the game and the majority of the community are English speakers. Please do your best to write coherently so readers can understand.

Spamming
Do not create multiple threads of the same topic or discussions to overwhelm the forums. Bumping (repeated posting on a thread to keep it going or visible) is also not allowed. Intentionally necro-bumping (bumping old threads) will result in disciplinary action.

Advertising/Malicious Links
We do not allow the promotion of referral websites, phishing websites, or other malicious links. This also includes threads that that intentionally promote (“advertise” non-Nexon games. If you would like to share a fansite, please do not spam.

Inappropriate Images
Do not post images on the forums that can be insulting; promote adult behavior and activities; suggestive actions; violence; and/or pornography. What you think may be funny, may not be to others especially to the moderators.

Signatures
If you wish to use images in your forum signature, you must have it hosted externally. Please do not use an inappropriate or an oversize signature. Typically, our general rule is a maximum of 600x300 (600 length, 300 height).

Flaming/Trolling
Inflammatory threads towards the game, the players, the company and its employees will not be tolerated. Baiting players to flame; derailing threads to incite an argument or negative behavior; and simply for the sake of causing trouble are not behavior accepted on the Nexon forums.

Harassment
The Nexon forum audience varies from age, gender, and culture. Making racist, derogatory, threatening comments and/or direct attacks on other forumers will not be tolerated.

Account Trading
Account trading is a violation of Nexon’s Terms of Use. Threads asking for free or unused accounts will be deleted. Intentionally sharing account information of your account or another’s user account will result in a permanent ban of the mentioned account.

Customer Support/Game Masters
The Nexon forums are not a channel to contact Customer Support or Game Masters. We have a support system for players to file tickets if they require assistance regarding account and billing inquiries or issues. CS and GM agents do not post on the forums because their responsibilities are in-game and ticket support.

Moderators/Community managers
The forum community is handled by forum moderators and community managers. They are in charge of up keeping and promoting the forum community. They do not have tools to assist players with support inquiries. Community managers are always reading what you have to say and make reports to the appropriate teams when necessary, thus it is highly important players have discussions so all readers, including community managers, can understand. Please do not make threads directed at the community managers. They will try to offer assistance if they can but please understand they may not comment or have information to provide at the time.

Other Nexon Representatives
Other Nexon representatives may also find their way on the forums and they are typically from the game team. They also read the forums frequently but please do not make threads directed at them. They will post if and when time permits.

Impersonation
Attempting to pass off as of any Nexon representatives or other forum members will be punished by a permanent ban.

Behavior Towards Nexon
Understandably, some things can be frustrating and it feels good to express your thoughts. As mentioned, you are free to express yourself on the forums but not on Nexon’s expense. This means we will not allow derogatory comments, threats, intellect insults, “crusades” against Nexon, and other comments encouraging other members to accept a certain ideology about Nexon.

Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (FUD)
We would like to ask forum members not to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) on the forums. It creates rumors and false information to spread. It does not contribute to the productivity of the forums.

Reporting Abuse
To report abuse happening on the Nexon forums, on the right bottom corner of every post there is a Report abuse link. When clicked it opens a report form for you to fill in a subject and a quick descr1ption of what the abuse is. Make sure you report the correct post because Report abuse notes which post has been reported.

If you wish to report in-game abuse you must use the in-game report options, website options or the ticketing system. The forums are not the channel for reporting players. Reporting players through the forums can be seen as harassment as it can lead to disruptive, inflammatory behavior. Such reports are best made through more private channels.

Ban Dodging
Players who have been banned from the forums temporarily or permanently must serve the sentence of the ban. Posting/creating new forum accounts while banned will lead to all your forum accounts being permanently banned for ban dodging.


The Forum Rules of Conduct are enforced at the moderators’ discretion along with the appropriate course of action taken on abusers. Excessive forum abuse may result in the termination of game accounts and potentially all associated accounts with it.

NEXON's cracking down on company and game bashing. Good for them!+1 from me

Also, you can't even edit your posts in that forum. Pretty weird.

I find this funny cause I went out of my way last month or so to bash people who didnt use common sense on their forums.

Yet they push their ideology that everything is just great and it is a wonderful free game...when it most certainly isnt either of those things.

They arent cracking down on bashing...they wont even allow anything that is at all slightly negative about Nexon or MapleStory. How can there be discuss if the only thing one is allowed to post is lollies and rainbows about Nexon?

People have been banned from the forum for suggesting things that will help but they have no interest in listening to anything that doesn't show them as the best game in the world...

It's not like people are going to read them anyways.

Oh well, still it's a step in the right firection.

Nexon doesn't even abide by their own rules. The trolling and flaming of long time users has been ongoing and Nexon does nothing to stop it. Thanks to a few certain people I got banned for raising my voice and defending myself and my own points of view.

And BTW... all the posts I made regarding ways to help Nexon, they only started saying what they were doing after I got banned, and only after I made some suggestions to them.

If you find all my old threads and posts regarding what nexon could do to find the source of their problems, compare them to what Nexon posted in their Dev Blogs... coincidence? BULL! No such thing as coincidence.

I'm not surprised one bit.

Nexon is like that old teacher in school who came with the place since it was built a half century ago, who has the paddle hanging on the wall unused for over 50 years as well... they can't stand to be questioned, corrected, or even looked at with some sense of might being wrong about something.

I could name like 8 company's/games like Nexon/MapleStory about customer service...Must be quite fun kicking a dead horse.

If you are implying that I have been banned from the Nexon forums, I havent. I choose what I say there very carefully.

I think they should feel lucky anyone even uses it, considering it's a white on white color scheme with the only features being quote, no mods, and picture posting. I didn't even know they supported pictures until a week ago.

I have to admit, the Nexon hate has been top-notch high lately.
