VIP Gun

Hi, an old friend (long story but he owed me a lot) just gave me a VIP gun and I potential-d it and it came out 2 lines. Should I keep it or get a reverse gun?





Reverse Blindness:

82 Atk Clean + 3 Adv. BC + 3 Adv. Diamond = easily 88-90 attack with level ups = 92-94 atk clean.

92 Atk + 45 (scrolling) = 137 + 3 Enhancement = 140 attack

3 Lines stats @ Unique Blindness:

30% Boss Damage, 6% + 6% DEX%/Atk%/Total Dmg% = 30% + 12% bonus


V.S.


My VIP Gun:

94 Atk Clean + 45 (scrolling) = 139 attack + 3 enhancement = 142 attack

30% Boss Damage, 8% bonus

Looks wise, I greatly prefer a Reverse Blindness over a VIP Gun. VIP looks decent though, but looks like a Halo weapon.




Any opinions?

I might be just guessing here, but I'm going to guess that the bonus for it being above a level 120 weapon will make it greater then a 3 line reverse weapon. Mainly because the boosts are better, and its really hard to get 3 lines of really worthy stat's as well anyways. Thats just my take on it though.

Harrizoned did a study and said total % damage does NOT stack, so 6% and 6% will not be 12% but rather 6%

I personally bought a 3-line vip gun on purpose just so i wouldn't have to decide. So far I know of 3 vip guns in bello, 2 of which were potential'd and got 3 lines. The 3rd is still unpotential'd and was sold, don't know status of it now

I guess, the VIP is a good choice because its 121+. So even with 2 lines of stats its not that far behind.
But the most important point to me is, that you can trade it! So id go for that.

Remeber though, 30% bossing will take up 1 line regardless of weapon, and won't go higher on a lvl 121+.

As far as I'm concerned, if you are planning to make a perfect end game gun a 3 line reverse/timeless would be better.

Also, it's STRless. Though you still need a fair decent amount of STR on clothings for potentials, I suppose that bit is worth considering. Being able to make Mechanics your new main is also a plus.

Atm its easy to get enough AP for your 2nd stat. even without adding many points into it.

lets say you are lvl 200:

23 2nd base stat
40 CHTP
22 Czhelm
15 Rings ( 3x lvl 107 ring)
6-10 Overall / Top-Bottom
5-10 gloves
(5-10 shoes) PSS are common and a usually a better choice
3 medal
2 from MW
= easy min 114 stats

im not a sair but i would suggest a vip gun, why? simple:
first of all i wouldnt count 3 enhancements (unless you gonna land em with stupid hack) cause at least from my experience i know they can be tricky and most likely boom your weapon.)

dont count 3 atk from adv bc cause thats really a small chance (also from my own experience) to even get 2-3 atk from it (usualy the one that works is stim.)

even 2 lined vip gun will be better imo than 3 lined reverse gun cause its tradeable, after big bang we probably get mechanics and as you know they use guns as their weapon.
someday maybe you will want to make one or decide to sell gun which is not possible with reverse gun.
after all vip gun even 2 lined = win in any case.

You're so lucky to have gotten that, even if it is only 2 lines.

It was 120k in cards. I advised my friend to sell to someone else cause I know a few beran sairs were paying max+ for a weaker attack one but he didn't want to.

That's bello for you. It was 3 below but whatever. The 2 below one with 3 lines was only 1.3b too.

Also the fact that I knew only me and the other corsair were the only active funded sairs in bello. There's maybe 1-2 other ones max (Honestly i can only think of 1 other one making a total of 3). So since demands low and supply is relatively high, we get them cheap ^__^

Quite worth the 80k nx spent.

Debate over I guess. I really favor the tradability of the VIP gun. I do plan on making a godly Mechanic some day.
