Known Issue - VIP Crossbow Weapon Stats

Dear Maplers,



The VIP Crossbow weapon stats are currently displayed incorrectly. The stats that are shown in game are incorrect. The actual stats can be seen below.







This is only a text error and the weapon will work as intended with the actual stats. Sorry for the confusion!

I assume by "+ATT Speed" they actually mean "+Speed" cause otherwise that makes no sense at all.

Are they trying to say that even though it's displayed incorrectly it will work correctly if you use it?

Because i guarantee you'll be D/C'd or something if they fixed it without a patch. >_>

Probably that the Owl of Minerva will show wrong stats, but if it drops it'll be correct since item drop stats are generated server side. Though that would mean even clean average ones would be pink, lol.

I would guess the str/dex/level requirements can't be changed though, which means lol 118 atk level 27 weapon. Or it would d/c you when you try to equip perhaps.

If it really is a text error as they claim then a Lv.27 wouldn't be able to equip it. The server or whatever sees it correctly, but it's only shown incorrectly to us.

Yeah, they can't change this kind of thing server side. It'll D/C you because the server will think players are hacking to make the stats better. >_> The data still says that the stats and requirements are X X and X, and until that's changed this issue won't be fixed.

I was referring to the requirements being different -> server thinks something is fishy -> D/C.

The enhancement hacks check out because it just sees it as a lot of enhancements being passed. Nothing fishy there! >_>

Glad they acknowledged it, but wasn't the extraction of the item itself, AKA the "actual stats" listed by Fiel a while ago? Meaning that it is NOT a simple text error? Either way, it doesn't affect me much right now. Even if people didn't read this and saw the broken item and sold it in the FM for cheap, that "cheap" probably wouldn't be under the 4 mil I have right now. Still willing to give the 120 a shot, but I'd more than likely be a ghost mule for others to respawn safely.

Yea, the error show up in the extraction. I think Fiel has said before that it will function the way it looks in the data. So Nexons visual error is as visual as Harrisonized's expiring overall I guess.
