Altitude is a 2D airplane combat game. It has different game modes including ball (two teams try to get the ball that's on the map and shoot it into their goal), team deathmatch (two teams, team with the most kills wins), free for all (team deathmatch without the teams), and team base destruction (two teams, there's a bomb that spawns somewhere on the map, try to pick up the bomb, fly to your opponent's heavily guarded base, and drop the bomb on the base without losing the bomb by getting killed).
There's 5 different planes and each plane has 3 weapon sets (a primary and a secondary weapon) to choose from. You can also choose one of four "green perks" (take less damage from hitting walls, have more hp, regain hp over time, or better turning ability) and one of four "blue perks" (regain energy faster, have more energy capacity, be able to fly backwards, or increase the stat bonus you get as you rack up kills without being killed).

Oh yeah, it's not free, it costs $10, but there's a free 3-hour demo version that limits you to the first 2 planes and the first of each kind of perk.
