Buying NX Yearly-

How much NX on average do you buy each year?

I keep my Nexon Card's just for curiosity later down the road.

2009: I spent a total of 180 dollars (6 25k cards) I'm Canadian so it's a bit more for NX here.

2010 (Thus Far): 120 Dollars (Made a corsair and funded myself with 2x for 2 months )

(Haven't bought any in about 4-5 months as I've been busy with a new job, moving into a new apt, and I dont play as much during the summer due to the high population of annoyances that thankfully disappear in September)

Would also be good if you edit the top post to say "post which localized version you play" because some Nexon subsidiaries are more merciless than others (MSEA *cough*). JMS is fine as long as you use MTS.

Lucky... Being Canadian I'm not permitted to take part in those surveys. Which is stupid, if NexonNA servies Canada, USA, Mexico and others... why do they only offer stuff to the USA players?

Generally the survey companies' fault, although you can find third-party survey websites. But at least you can get nx (albeit with your money).

The only two figures I can remember was one time I bought 12 $25 cards ($300) in one purchase. Definitely one of the stupidest things I've ever done.

The amount of money you spend on an MMORPG either goes down with time (as you no longer need to pay for items which helps you character grow; you can also fund your in-game activity with drops and forged items) or goes up (as you get even more addicted to the game and start spending exorbitant amounts of money on godly equips). I'm the former; I have enough mesos to fund myself for the time being and if I ever need to, I'll just throw in ten bucks. I've always had the cover of being a lolmarksmen for the utter lack of firepower (which is unfair because we still rely on criticals and snipe for the big damage which is unstable) and I doubt it will ever be overturned (the image at least).

Let's just say it was a painful day of my life trying to upgrade by buying equips and scrolls from the MTS, and having the vast majority fail or boom.

I would highly recommend never doing what I did. If you have any urge to purchase such a quantity in one transaction, I'd hope you can talk yourself out of it, and if not, make sure you capitalize on it.

Few grand..

I've spent about $200-300 over the 6 years I've been playing this game, so I guess around 40 dollars a year? I used to get 25k NX every 3 months but over the past 2 years I've rarely bought any.
