Yet another exploit
#1
Well, just found it. it use A 5TH anniversary box, and yeah, you can see what it does on the vid.

this been released to public, people abusing it like crazy.

If nexon don't fix it in today's SC, we can expect people getting hellbanned again or maybe another rollback.

The fact that Nexon even makes it possible for hackers to get to Happyville when its not open is just -facepalm-

It's too slow to be a threat.

He could create perfect scrolled potential INT level 70 maple earrings for every character he wants. :O

So how does this work, you sell the leaves to the npc? Aren't they like 1 meso?

Edit: NVM, I saw him hax selling for instant 30~k
People say 10 min = 1 million

Yeah, it'd be better just to save them for maple earrings, lol.

Yes.
That's why it's too slow.

Read that there was a new exploit on Basil, and here it is! I really should just quit that site, no useful or at least helpful information.

At first I was going to say that people should stop crying "Rollback!" at every little bug. That looks like it could be pretty bad but is it that necessary for a rollback? I'd think the enhancement hack would be worse and that should be handled first, but if Nexon just puts a block on Happyville and sends people to Henesys like they did with the closing of Stage 2 then only the real hackers could probably get into Happyville and stay in. Script kiddies don't know what they're really doing, I really doubt it. But anyway, all these exploits... it's getting old, annoying, and I don't know WHY people think it's fun to cheat at a game. It takes out the fun entirely. Why bother playing if you're not going to play? But Nexon's gotta stop leaving all of these loopholes open for little kids to enter and play in, the unscheduled server checks and rollback crying Basil Market (and apparently here now too) is terribly upsetting. It's not necessary and even though Nexon shouldn't be leaving potential places to exploit, it doesn't guarantee a rollback unless it's huge enough.

But then again, the video seemed to work pretty slowly. Maybe it's just as fast as that one in Leafre and WOULD need a rollback. But from that video, it just seems like something that should be fixed and isn't that deadly. But I guess I'll sit and watch. But the Rollback stuff... really needs to end soon. As one person, it's annoying to read across several sites when there clearly won't be one. We'll see, but I'm doubtful. Even if it's not fixed I don't think there's going to be another rollback again, but maybe this exploit is more extreme than the video shows it to be. So I'm going to shut my trap since I always get myself into arguments on SP, and watch.

Going to basically restate what he said, not every little bug means that it'll get a rollback. The enhancement hack is basically a lot worse than this, considering how massively public it is and deadly compared to a meso exploit that gets you 10m an hour at max.

yeah i know, after i posted i figured out i shouldn't have used the rollback word >_<;

but still, nexon need to fix those bugs, what about those meso seller site that have like 500+ bot everyday, and a experienced hacker can easily open more than 10 maple on same computer and make 4bil+ /day. if nexon dont fix it, it can ruin the economy again.

and hopefully nexon will fix it on today's patch, since it got released to public to get it patched.

Took that guy ~20seconds to make 30k mesos, which means 600k/min and 6mil/hour. Now, times that by the 3 or 4 mules going on at once and they're getting 20mil an hour, for barely any effort put in.

+ the amount of people in a server doing it at once.

The economy is going to inflate even worse. lol

Your math is off.
60 seconds = 1 minute, 60 minutes = 1 hour.
20 seconds to make 30k = 90k per minute = 5.4m an hour.

fixed. ;p

20 seconds to make 30k = 90k per minute = 540k an hour.

Lil' bit higher than that an hour 90k * 60 = 5.4mil

Ah missed a zero. Yeah.

Even then, it's still very slow. To the person saying they can have 10+ maples open botting, that's highly unlikely considering how much memory executing Maple takes and if your computer can handle it. It's not that big of a deal.

Consider the fact that this can be automated. Then understand that meso sellers can create an infinite number of accounts.

50% scroll farming had a better time/money ratio, and they didn't really crash the market.

The main problem is, as Fiel said, if they automate it multiple times and set up bots to farm this from them.

Don't sell items in the FM, guys. Nexon might pull another "WE'RE GONNA DELETE ALL INFECTED MESOES."

its already automated, there is a bot, open boxes, cc, sell leafs, rush back to map, open boxes, cc, sell leafs, rush back to map.

and i could run already 4 maple at once on my computer, with 2gb ram.

now get a meso seller site with like 1000+ bots doing it.

@above: probably so it can be patched faster, when exploits like that go to public, its because the creator or the hackers want it to get patched.
