Ok, I had no idea where to post this cause it's an idea for an MMO but the art section didn't seem right.
So, I was thinking about MMO stuff and if I was even given the chance to create one. Then, I just began to think of all the classes I have ever played in any game and which ones I liked and some of the funnest that everyone liked and what pleased a general crowd but brought a bit of uniqueness to it as well. Without any further due, here's the concept of the classes for a MMO that has no premise or concept yet.
The four main classes break down as so:
Warrior | Magician | Gunner | Artist
The process of job advancing goes as the following:
LV1 (Beginner) - LV5 Intro Job Class - Lv10 Decided Subclass - LV50 Final subclass.
Some LV50 classes are related to the first subclass, and some are not. I took this idea from LaTale.
The elements refereed to would include:
Fire Ice Earth Light Dark, the Holy element can only be attained by a class designed with it.
lol, I spent way too much time on this.

Warrior
LV5 Trainee Knight - Basically from LV5 to LV10 you'll just be leveling basic skills that will benefiet all later subclasses such as HP skills or DEF skills. This small job is just to get a feel for the class, and go along with a possible story line.
1st Subclass LV10
Red Knight
- Class based around the sword and shield type of warrior, typical front line in parties and damage dealer. Average day warrior, with some twists on skills. Low MP class, high HP class. Not many buffs in the job itself.
Spearman
- Typical spear related class, but confined to just spears for the time being. Skills are generally slow, and they are high mobbing class with a bit more HP but lower defense. They are to be played with distance from the monster, to help prevent HP loss due to low defense.
Shielder
- This is a class I've never seen put into a game besides maybe Kingdom Hearts. As the Red Knight uses small one hand shields, the Shielder uses large metal shields that the player uses to rush through monsters and toss around like a boomerand. Lowest HP of the 3 warrior, but highest with MP. Fast movement, but slow attacks. They are also the buffing class of the warrior division, providing a lot of defensive buffs.
2nd Subclass LV50
Red Knight --> White Knight or Blue Knight
White Knight
- Class designed to carry two hand swords and a bit slower but more powerful, skills designed to deal hefty damage at a cost of HP. Defense is well rounded, but not up to par because of the lack of a shield.
Blue Knight
- A Sword and Shield based class, using one handed swords to deal fast midrange damage and the shield to using blocking attacks. Lower HP than a White Knight but a higher defense.
Spearman --> Black Knight or Calvary
Black Knight
- The class that will retain it's spear skills form before, but dip into a bit of the dark powers. Enchanting spear heads with different poisons the Black Knight is still a highly mob related concept with low defense and low party skills.
Calvary
-A mounted warrior, using a lance to deal powerful blows and it's horse to stun the enemies. Compared to the Black Knight, it's mobbing abilities are nothing as it's compensated large scale semi-ranged attacks with closer range devastating attacks.
Shielder --> Guardian or Craftsman
Guardian
- Still the same shielder as before, but with more improved attacks and party buffs. More concerned now with lowering damage received and keeping monsters under control.
Craftsman
- The shielder trades in it's large shield for a wrench and hammer. Constructing small scale machines to do it's bidding, this class is greatly helpful in a party as it can create shelters and machines to lower or even prevent certain types of damage.

Magician
LV5 Scholar - From level 5 to 10 you are basically upping neutral magic buffs, MP skills, and Magic Defense.
1st Subclass Lv10
Cleric
- Class using wands and heavely MP dependent. Most skills will be healing skills, and exp will be gained for healing party members. Few attacking skills, and the ones you have are mid mob, fast, neutral element for the time being.
Scrivener
- Another class I've never seen pulled off completely. The scrivener uses a book and a pen to shout spells and write up talismans to place on monsters. Another MP dependent class, but highly mob related. The scrivener can also use cards instead of a book to actually toss it's talismans rather than pl
ace it. There is no definitive element for the class, which is determined by either what skill is shouted or what type of cards being used.
Druid
- This is a class that will use an orb to determine it's damage. I basically stole this idea from WoW in concept. For the most part the druid has it's own forms designed for combat, travel, and party support. The orb shrouds the user and then transforms them into animal form. This is a low MP mage class, but with a lot of HP. Not really MP dependent compared to the other two classes.
2nd Subclass LV50
Cleric --> Monk or Priest
Monk
- The class that will retain it's wand and be more focused on healing and keeping itself and party alive rather than PvE. Support skills to reduce damage and increase EXP from healing will be mixed in.
Priest
- The cleric switches to a staff at this time, which is slower at casting but the spells being casted are more powerful buffs to attack and other stats. A few more attacking skills than buffing skills, hits a bit more mobs but at the cost of a slower speed.
Scrivener --> Reader or Card Master
Reader
- This class still uses it's book and pen to write spells and shout out to the elements. At this time the Reader will have to decide what type of element it will wish to chose from to survive.
Card Master
- No long with a book and now with a deck of cards, and some blanks. The Card Master throws it's cards onto the monsters waiting for them to deal their own damage. A card master will create their own deck of cards but be based on a bit of luck, as tossing cards will be at random.
Druid --> Creature or Spirit
Creature
- The Druid learns more advanced transforms, specializing in physical attacks and creatures. This class focuses on buffing the main stats.
Spirit
- This type of druid no longer becomes a creature and instead becomes spirits of the dead, and it's attacks and buffs are now magic based rather than physical based. This class focuses on buffing the support stats.

Gunner
LV5 Lookout - This small class is just to obtain gun basics, such as accuracy increasing skills and gun basics.
1st Subclass LV10
Short Shot
- Dual gunner, however in terms of range with guns the range is quite short. Attacks are quite fast, but deal an average amount of damage to a small amount of mobs. Heavy user of MP, and damage can be influenced by different bullets.
Long Shot
- Using rifles or large guns, the range on these gunners will be enormous. However, they will be tremendously slow. With their inadequate speed comes massive mobbing skills and hard hitting attacks. They have low MP, and will be required to not be hit while prepping a shot or the shot will fail.
2nd Subclass LV50
Short Shot --> Dueler or Dropshot
Dueler
- Typical dual gunner, using alot of movement and kiteing to get the job done. Nothing really special, besides large damage increases and aerial moves.
Drop Shot
- The gunner turns in one of it's guns to shoot with more accuracy. A dropshot can enchant it's bullets with the elements to achieve different effects. This class is slightly slower than a Duler, and a bit more vulnerable to being hit. However, at one point they will be able to control lazers.
Long Shot --> Sniper or Hunter
Sniper
- This gun class focuses on using the largest guns there are, and wide spread bullet skills. Slowest of the gunners, the gunner gets even more range and back up skills to help lower the chance of a failure shot if hit.
Hunter
- Instead of using large guns, the gunner will change to a medium size gun with the ability to spray elements. The gunner will be able to keep a flame thrower flame out, or even a freezing burst. Most skills will be based on the elements and DoT damage can be inflicted.

Artist
LV5 Artist - The start of this class you'll use your bare fists to get through the five levels. Skills during this job will increase your vitality and focus, and talent.
1st Subclass LV10
Bard
- Typical guitar and music related class, heavy on buffs and healing and AoE attacks. Attacks are general speed and have a neutral element for the time being. However, instead of healing HP the bard will regenerate MP for itself and party members.
Dancer
- The fist thrower and kicker class. Using bare fists and light weight shoes, the Dancer is incredibly fast on its feet as it will toss enemies up and punch them into the ground. However, the class is highly HP dependent due to it's lightweight armor and close range. Any buffs for the party will effect the speed of their attacks.
2nd Subclass LV50
Bard --> Vagabond or Preformer
Vagabond
- Uses a classic acoustic guitar, and the MP regenerating class. Heavy party buffs and regenerating skills, and attacks attain a holy element.
Preformer
- More advanced and concerned with making the best out their music, the Preformer now uses electric guitars. With the electric guitar comes the amp, which with an amp you can determine the element of your attack. Such as, leveling the fire amp skill would enchant your guitar attacks with fire element and so forth. Amps must be summoned and they confine the preformer to a certain range or the attacks will suffer.
Dancer --> Gypsy or Desperado
Gypsy
- Continuing to use their fists and feet the gypsy now can lower the defense of mobs with skills to swoon them over. Large damage increases come with this class, and speed increasing party skills.
Desperado
- Instead of using their fists, they will use a dagger. Kicking will still continue, but speed will suffer greatly. Desperados would be considered a solo class, as it' got the mixture of close range kicks and far range dagger throws.
