Does the resistance have CS books?
#1
Battle mages and wild hunters came out recently, and I was wondering whether they need CS books like evans and dual bladers.

kMS didn't have CS skillbooks for Evans, and they don't need them for Resistance either.

True, but I don't think they'd do it twice. It's bad PR in general... yeah, I don't know why I just now thought that bad PR would be a deterrent for Nexon, aka F-rated on the BBB site.

They'll do it again if it makes money. No body likes Evan, so that's a failure. DB, on the other hand, are much more popular.

The CS cash books all has to do with the corporate model of that particular game company/nexon. JMS got a non cs-book DB, which apparently was derived from the Taiwanese version, so it could also be in Thai MS too.

You also have to factor in that the majority of the maple population checks sites like these and can tell when something new is coming (or at least what's in the future). No offense to anybody, but even with the CS mastery books and great gear I don't find Evans to be that great of a class; most people have forgotten about them, and I rarely see any.

Battle mages, wild hunters, and eventually mechanics, are all quite popular without even being released. People would be very upset if Nexon pulls their usual crap on them.

So far it seems that NexonUS is pulling out all the stops just to make money. At least you guys have free NX from surveys; if Asiasoft decides to pull the same crap, I (and some other people) will be completely screwed because I've sworn never to buy cash again. Well, as long as Asiasoft continues being a royal pain in the rear in terms of customer service anyway.

I hope that you're being facetious - those "free nx surveys" aren't reliable at all. The few people who have had success are the ones who sit there and do it over and over, i.e., maple grind in survey form.

I rather they have CS skill books...

Getting skill books in game for new classes in game were always a pain

Only if the skillbooks don't drop from an monsters in the game or they drop from a boss monster that's around 50 levels higher than the level you supposed to get the skill at =x

This CS skillbook thing isn't a problem for the most part; people will buy regardless since it's a hell of a lot easier than finding one. It's just Nexon Global seems to be going back on their word that "the skillbooks will drop in-game", and that's bad customer service. For any company.

You prefer having to shell out money for each new class before it even hits 4th job?

I'd rather have both;

CS skillbooks are completely fine, even convenient...if players could also obtain them at a reasonable rate from REASONABLE MONSTERS (i.e. monsters that match the players' level and skill they're trying to get)

I'd rather have a system that doesn't reward players who pay with a direct increase in power and enjoyment.
