Problem with gamelauncher.exe

All the patch files updated fine in the new update, but uh gamelauncher won't work at all.. to quote what it says 'Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item'

It worked fine before I patched, any ideas? Or am I gonna have to use the website log in..? -despises it-

I deleted my old shortcut I had on my desktop and restarted my computer and then tried using the gamelauncher.exe in the Maplestory folder. @__@ Still says the same thing D:

How do I do that? I would of thought I was the administrator, since I'm the only one who uses this computer @_@ So confusing

It doesnt have a 'Run as Administrator' option. Just Display settings, the run as a different Windows mode thingy and the input settings.

Ahh sorry I'm running Windows XP. Probably should of mentioned that in my first post sorry @_@

I fixed it, I looked at the folder, and the file was called 'GameLauncher' I'm like.. maybe I'll rename it to Gamelauncher.exe and my virus scan asked if I trusted the file, I said yes and it's working normally now.. That was weird and very random. Thanks Rayquaza..My shortcuts on my desktop were labelled Gamelauncher.exe but the one in my folder wasn't. Thanks for your help

Try starting the game from the website, if you cant do that then my theory is correct, and you cant start the game because the server is pacckkkkkkkeeeeeeedddddd
