AP expiration date question...
#1
SO. Does the timer start from the moment you start maple, when you open the cash shop, or when you take them out? I mean the 10 day thing, of course.

I'd love to know, I'm going away some days and it'd be better if it was one of the latter things :p

An exact answer would be ideal.

The resets are gifted like any other CS item, so the timer starts when you go into the CS and see the "You got a free whatever!" message pop up.

There are a few timers:
- The 10day expiration starts the moment you first see them in CashShop
- The event duration, within which you will receive the "gift here, want? y/n" notice, which, I presume, triggers the gift sending
- forever: after the gift has been sent AND before you enter CS, the items should be preserved with formalin in there. Playing with this isn't much different from playing with stock market though.

This sounds more solid than stock advice, actually. I'm not sure how Nexon would be able to retrieve the gifts once they've been sent out (unless they're out to get you, specifically). Safest bet would be to log in, click OK on the event dialog box, but not go into the CS.

Since February, I've played on and off with ~month's time in between. Sometimes I notice that right when I go into the CS, even if haven't been in there before, it shows many boxes saying that my so-and-so item (that I didn't even know about) expired. Namely, they were 2x exp or drop cards. Can anyone explain this?

I'd love some confirmation on this... It could be quite bad if I don't make sure, and I loose all of them D:

Bumping this because I want confirmation on this question. Someone probably has found the answer but I haven't read all the threads. I'm not ready to use my resets yet, but I accidentally accepted it (pressing enter actually works for this?) and they showed up in cs.

I think the 10 day starts when you take it out because there isn't an expiration date when you hover over it in cs; things like 2x cards that start right away do. However, the wording of the nexon announcement as well as the risk of losing the 20 resets warrant a need for confirmation.

If no one has tested this, I think an easy way would be to accept the resets, go into cs and have them show up, go back in a few hours to take them out, and see whether the expiration date corresponds to the initial visit to the cs, or the one a few hours later. Of course, the tester should be one who would've used them soon anyway.

Had a Brown Kitty pet on my mule from last year when they were giving out stuff for hitting level 20 on a new account.
Never took it out and it didn't have an expiration date in the cash shop.
Took it out, and the expiration date for 9/xx/2009 showed up. It died instantly.

So I'm pretty sure that timer is winding down even though you haven't touched it yet. It starts from the time the item is in your cash shop.
