Do WinXP themes matter for any program functions?

Yeah, so this retarded techguy from the business managing system came over to my workplace telling my boss they should turn off Luna's XP theme because their program may be malfunctioning due to that.

All I get is bullcrap. I'VE NEVER SEEN A PROGRAM WORKING TERRIBAD WITH XP

What I guess is that their program is too crappy and they blame the OS because they don't know another way out the problem.

yes: -> prove him it is irrelevant by sending him a ss (cc to your boss) when their program hangs with XP theme off

no: -> keep using the theme till malfunctions occurs.
