Nice to see EMS following the trend.

If KMS calls it pigmy, then what the hell does "gachapon" mean?

Pigmy and Gachapon are two different "lotteries" that appear in different versions. Usually if a version has one, they do not have the other.
Gachapon means "capsule toy" in Japanese.

So we're using the japanese name instead of the korean one?

And I know what they are, someone answered directly above your post. -_-''

That looks like a copypasta error. I think Myles' Mapler Ring actually gives the drop bonus as it should.

They were supposed to be +50% drop but got changed on very short notice, likely due to Nexons unability to fix the recent meso hack.

Wow, eMS didn't have Maker? xD

We're using the Japanese system instead of the Korean one, if I had to guess. The two systems have different items, procedures, et cetera. The end result is the same.

GMS was based off of GMS, thus why it has have gachapon, and some JMS event maps and the JMS zhelm system exist in the GMS data to some extent (none of them are really full.. most are just strings).
