As expected, the preview wasn`t lying. The storyline was COMPLETELY changed.
Confirmated it when looking at a friend`s blogspot and found an interview of Nexon Japan on the 4gamer.net website.

Regarding Evans, you can see a few different places in those screenshots. They don`t mention so much about Evans storyline. But a new area has been mentioned in the preview story, Ankin Forest, which is, i believe, the foggy forest in the beginning, i believe they`re making it a REAL area. Also, another new are has been added i think, it`s in Riprey (Leafre).

Apparently, my imagination is interfering, and this storyline may not be 100% correct. But by what i understood, the final storyline is like this.
Evans are citizens of Leafre, descendants of heroes. They live alongside Hafrings, taking care of Dragon Eggs, when a day, they discover that one of those eggs was from the extinct race of Onyx Dragons, the egg hatches and you guys know the rest.
Note that NO SKILLS were changed.

Dual Bladers: This one was the story that has been altered mostly.
In the preview, they mention a Dark Dragon Clan, Asia and Kamuna stories and a Ninja organization.
Here`s how i think it`s going to be. Dual Bladers, are citizens of Kaede, a past themed area. They are now members of an organization called "The Dark Dragon Clan", which is not so much clear in the preview, neither the interview. They live in Kaede Castle, and are maybe opposite to Tonosama, the frog that rules the castle. Maybe, the Dragon Clan was the organization founded by Kaedeya to drive Tonosama and his gang out of his Castle. Also, their story is related to Time Travelling through the Kamuna tree, where time doesn`t flow, and where the Oracle that sensed the destruction of the World by Aufheben, that was going to crush the Maple world with a Dimensional Distortion.
The rest is regarding Tokyo Storyline, priests of Time, Asia, Dunas and Ashley used to protect the Time Crystal and the power of the old tree. Ashley got kidnapped by Aufheben, and hidden in the alternate side of the Roppongi mall. Dunas went crazy on losing his girlfriend, and went berserk becoming an enemy, encountered in both Akihabara and Shibuya. Asia asks you to do two things. Stop the robotic war that destroyed Tokyo and that started circa 2100.
First quest is just to defeat Bergamoth at 2100, just to stop him from destroying the whole Odaiba harbour.
Dida, who was only a little boy, got murdered by a marverick invasion in the Park, at the year 2095. She asks you to fix that and save Dida, because he`s the chosen one to put an end to this war. After protecting him, his sister, Marle disapears, and Dida goes on a search around Tokyo to look for her.
At 2102, you encounter Dida on the flagship, that flies over Tokyo skies. After defeating Dunas in Akihabara.
After that, Asia calls you immediately in Kamuna, saying that an unknown beast has been attacking the source of power from Kamuna.
When you defeat it, you can notice that he`s Dunas, that escapes and reappears at Shibuya.
Dida is waiting you at Shibuya, and after you defeat Dunas in the Shibuya 808 mall, Dida decides to head to Roppongi Mall. Where the Core Blaze resides.
Core Blaze was a machine, that has been built up by Dida`s father and that controls all the robotic activity in Tokyo. Dunas, before dying, hide something inside the Core Blaze. It was Marle, Dida`s sister, that faints after the machine is destroyed. Apparently, everything was fine. Robots were finally controlled.
But Asia senses the danger she felt before. Aufheben is ready to destroy everything. After you defeat Aufheben, Ashley is saved and you successfully saved Tokyo.
Asia is an oracle, that has a pretty interesting story. There`s a book, Acacia Chronicles, that is related to Black Magic, and connects the story of Jipang to Magatia.
Asia laid her hands on that book, that has everyone`s life written on it. She didn`t believe all the world could be ruled by a single book, after reading it, she noticed her name wasn`t mentioned.
She gave up of trying to understand the book, and gained immortality with Black Magic. But as a punishment, she must live with the fact that she knows everything that will happen and live with the fact that her dimension was going to be destroyed.
Dual Bladers are totally connected to such stories, Kaede and Tokyo.
Apparently, this shows that soon, Maples won`t be so much dependant from KMS as they are now. And will even have the right to make their own areas, without showing it their culture or being country-themed.
Looks like JMS is making it`s own game now. Six days until we find out. Don`t 100% trust on what i wrote here. It`s what i THINK it`s going to be.
