Wand or Staff?

which do you prefer??

i like wands better

Staves, wands made my mage look gay...lol, only one I'd ever use is the lv 130 luckless one or Dimon wand.

I prefer a Staff.

Well... staffs overall but I love my heart 'staff', though it is actually a wand.

I really like my Hinomaru because nobody else seems to use it (I like to be original). I also like the poison staff (Lv 103 Fast 4 rating), just because its purple.

So both I guess. I voted wands though cuz I'm too broke to get a poison staff.

I prefer the look of the staves but then i end up using a wand 95% of the time

I love the look of Dark Ritual and Doomsday the most

Most staves look better and more threatening (who'd be afraid of something that looks like dinky cheap plastic, aka a wand? At least you could wack things with a staff and expect it to hurt).

I, too, dig the Hinomaru and tend to use it. The elemental wands are gorgeous, and I don't mind magicodars. I used to hate wands and refused to use them (other than the listed ones), but now I don't mind so much. `-` Sucks that they tend to have a lower luk requirement. >_>

Unless you're using explosion or ultimates with a Fast speed weapon versus a non-fast speed weapon, wands and staves are the same speed for all casting spells.

Staffs ftw.

Wands are ok.... But meh.

well sentimentality leads me to not want to let go of the EW that most f/p mages were using from back in oldschool days but the new elemental weapons open many doors.

The only wand I like is the codar. Staff is my second love.

That doesn't make sense, to me, anyway. I've always considered staffs to cover less. Why? Because the long end of the staff (skinny stick) will cover up a bit of your body, and the head of the staff will be infront. In a wand's case, it will cover more, because it isn't as long and the wand's head and body will both be on the character's body. Thus covering more.

In looks, I prefer staffs.

Sadly, I'm stuck using a one-handed sword, the Black Umbrella, since that's still the best lukless weapon in eMS. o:

Lol, I like wands better for some reason. Although I think Blue Marine is the best looking Magician weapon, (except the 120 Timeless wand) even though it's a staff.

Whichever has more M ATK.

I insist on a black umbrella. So I use a 1h sword!
