Hunter: To FA, or Not to FA.

that is the question.

So after several years of Maple, I've decided to try a bowman at the first time, and have been creating my character based on the various bowmen guides. What I'm not sure about is Final Attack - I know there's pros and cons, but I'm not entirely sure which way to go. I'm leaning toward not using FA, but i'd like to hear what experienced bowmen think about the skill.

Most 2nd job training as a hunter is now done with arrow bomb, and FA is a really bad thing to have activate while spamming arrow bomb because it only hits one target. Arrow bomb also got improved a ton by the past two separate balance patches. All final attack does is improve double shot's damage by a little bit, which is kind of pointless since you get strafe at 70 and has long-term negative effects on not being able to arrow bomb reliably, not to mention double shot is rarely used in 2nd job training. I would suggest not putting any point into final attack since it ruins arrow bomb and isn't even helpful in 2nd job nor is it helpful at all in the long term.

Agreed. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever get Final Attack on a bowman. I sorely regretted doing so, even once I got my Crossbowman to 4th job.
