@Above : There's always going to be a way for people to have connection to others around the world via computer access. In one way or another, there will always be internet, unless it becomes absolutely obsolete.

The main one people see is freedom of speech. But from what im seeing in the link, it wouldnt shut down the internet, it would just make everything outside of the US unusable, so freedom of speech would still work.

Internationally though, it would really piss a lot of people off.

Also, since some of the actual "internet" main servers arent even in the US, I see no way this would ever work out.
