[POLL] How do you feel about this Maplestory 2.0 thing?
#1
As the title says: How do you feel about this? I couldn't help but being shocked. This is a complete overhaul on MapleStory.

Also, it seems that Nexon still kinda cares about the userbase.

I'm still indifferent about it, but I'll give it a thumbs up. If this goes well, I might start playing Maple again, but that's still faaaaaaaaar away from JapanMS.

If they pull it off, it'd be awesome. I'd be 100% back to maple because of it.

It's like a start of a new adventure. I'm getting that feeling from when I first started playing 5 years ago.

Yeah. Victoria is "wtp? Where am I?" again. I used to know Victoria like the back of my hand... Now it's so unrecognizable, I'm barely making my way to proper training maps.

Since this is still in testing, I'm gonna say "Don't care" for now. If the changes do come to the official version, I'd have to try and get used to it.

I vote for "Still not finished, I think I'll wait until it's official". But the whole changing almost everything in game, makes it feel like a new ballgame. So far, I like what they've done with most of the skills, making them more useful and lowering some max levels on them. It'll be interesting.

This is all amazing, if you ask me. Absolutely can't wait for more to be revealed / added in KMST in regard to all of this.

These changes are rather amazing, but this will completely change Maple Story as we know it, everything will be changed, everything.

I still don't know what the hell I want. All of these updates are rather overwhelming to take in in a couple days, waiting till everything is cleared up, especially for Magicians.

As some of you, I still need to wait and watch/read more info about these changes before I can fully opine, but for what I've seen so far, this is all great.

I guess they gave up with the Idea of a Maple Story 2 game, and dediced to implement all these changes in the original server, However I feel this all would have been much better if they had created a new game. They would have had the more liberty to change anything, including maps and every one starting from 0 would have meant, nonne of the previous imbalanced, CS advantages given to the players and effects caused by these would be present anymore. We would all start even. as When this game was created. That would be just lovely...

id say,its a great patch but it doesnt really feel like "THE AWESOME MAPLESTORY 2.0"
in the past year we received no new continents/areas at all besides copies of world tours remakes and small additions like the el nath pq..
so i hope this patch will include besides rebalancing the whole classes and world maps but also should include more additions
(to let us progress on the storyline)

I'm mostly neutral-slight positive about it so far. Re-exploring vic and stuff is going to be fun once this hits gMS.

Hard to think of additions when you're changing the ENTIRE core of the game. Give it some time man, it'll come.

I think this is fantastic. This will completely change the way Maple Story works. If it pans out, I might (small might) come and try it. However, the only thing that concerns me is how big the bugs will be when the patch comes out and if we will get free resets to all of our skills.

I believe THIS IS the maplestory 2 they talked about from the very beginning. They just pulled a fast one on us all by announcing it as "2". I think it would be absurd to put so much work into a game towards the end when they're phasing it out for the sequel.

Honestly, i love it. It really seems like they're fixing some of the biggest things that got to me about this game, the lack of decent 120+ content and the broken formulas. namely Mage damage and HP/ Defense formulas. Now all they have to do is make a Nexon America V2 and i'm in love with this game again. Oh, and fix the broken economy, it makes no sense when items in a game sell for OVER the maximum possible amount of mesos. Better drop rates; yadda yadda...

I'll prolly bury the hatchet with NA for this if it turns out good once its here: I'd love to try playing from Lv 1 again as either a Brawler or a BattleMage with all the new changes.

Other than the Aran nerf and magician nerf(->magicians are totally useless) I guess it's okay.

I don't like them removing req exp either, back in time some people had to burn alot of time to even get lvl100... and now you can get lvl200 EASILY
