How do you now improve equips?

I'm a little confused on how equip stats improve in KMS now.

Is there anything beyond the potential system after the initial grading?

Do regular scrolls still exist?

They do. I believe an equip has to be fully scrolled before you can use those star scrolls on them.

I know for zhelms, since their so cheap, along with chaos scrolls, people chaos their helms and potential them.

Does anybody know the mechanics behind the new scrolling methods?
